Swiftstorm had been thinking. Being able to fish and swim were big parts of being a MoonClan cat and they had neglected it for so long. WaterClan may have been experts and fishing in the daytime, but they were the silent ripples of water in the night. Not only did it provide them a new source of food, but it also added to their battle tactics and defenses. It hadn't been taught in moons and Mistflower had asked if he would teach the young cats or anyone who didn't know how to swim or fish. He had agreed to do so, only if she came along as well. Being the clan elder had its perks, obviously.
So at the near full moon, when the light was bright enough, Swiftstorm had called the mentors and their apprentices down to the lake.
Primrosepaw was the first apprentice to come racing out of the den, a large grin plastered onto her features. "Oh my gosh!" She cried out excitedly, her tail lashing out behind her. She began to hop around buoyantly. "Briskfang!" She called out, waiting for her mentor to come slipping out of the warriors' den.
"Good evening, Swiftstorm," Primrosepaw purred, dipping her head in greeting to her leader.

"Hello there, Primrosepaw." He said politely. "Are you ready to learn how to swim and fish? I mean, the other cats of WaterClan need a contender. They can't be the only swimming cats." He joked as he waited for the other apprentices to show up.
