Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The day was fairly warm apart from the occasional strong gusts of wind that whistled through the camp. Larkwing shivered as he made his way across camp to the leader's den. It was about time he told Burningstar about his recent absences. However, anxiety tugged at his heart. He was worried about how she would take the news. Would she demote him? Would she understand? Several questions and worries ran through his mind by the time he reached the den. "Burningstar? May I come in?" He asked, calling into the den. His legs trembled and he found that he was having trouble keeping his voice steady.
Burningstar had been getting comfortable back in her den. After having been relegated to the nursery for so long raising her adopted children, it was odd to be back in her own den again. Her ears pricked as she heard her name being called by Larkwing. "Come in Larkwing!" She called shifting to be seated beside her nest facing towards Larkwing.
The silver tabby tom entered the den, his tail was low and his eyes held every emotion he was feeling. The Nightclan deputy wasn't very good at hiding his feelings. "Burningstar, I would like to talk to you about something..."
He nodded, "I'm okay." That was mostly the truth. He wasn't harmed, no one was. Though his heart was breaking for his love's safety. That was really the only thing that hurt. He took a deep breath. "Burningstar, I am so ashamed to tell you that..well..I've been seeing someone...someone from Renegade Regime." He answered, his voice shaky. "But please do not think I am disloyal to Nightclan...I would never betray this clan..." That was true. He wouldn't do anything to betray the clan; but he couldn't help that his heart belonged to Elsie.
