Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Etherealpaw stalked forward practicing her hunters crouch inside of DayClan's camp, but she was dragging her belly across the ground and her tail was up high. Being a new apprentice her mentor hadn't yet gone over hunting and had only shown her around DayClan. Now was the second day and she wasn't having much luck on her hunting ability, it seemed that whichever spirit guide she had must either be late or perhaps lazy and hadn't come to her yet. She knew she was doing something wrong from the stares she was getting and lifted her head back up with a defeated expression.
She glanced back at the apprentices den and wandered over to it, her black pelt practically dissolving in the darkness, "Could any apprentice help me out with hunting?"
Foxpaw's head shot up from his slumber at the sudden voice of Etherealpaw. He blinked the sleep away and a large yawn parted his jaws. Rising to his paws and shaking the bedding from his fur, Foxpaw answered his fellow apprentice with a chuckling answer, "Sure, Etherealpaw. I will help you." He climbed out of his nest and slipped out into the open world. The air felt chilly compared to the warmth in the apprentice's den. "What is it that you need help with?" He asked more awake now.
"I don't know, every time I try and hunt I just keep doing it wrong, I just want to know where I'm going wrong I guess," Etherealpaw admitted, after all it seemed her hunting was spot on, but her follow through and confidence is what made her slip up every time. She had the coordination and training to hunt prey, but none of the confidence that she would pounce accurately on the prey and in the moment she cracked under pressure and would miss.
