Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Hemlockgrove soaked up the meager amount of sun that he could, the warmer days that signaled the coming spring doing wonders for his stress levels. He hated trudging through snow and couldn't wait to not be able to see his breaths in the morning. The tom didn't shy away from hard work, but he preferred it not to be brought on by inclement weather. Winter was just too much of a hassle and he was beyond pleased that it was almost over.

Foxstar, for her part, didn't mind the cold. Her thick fur kept her warm enough in all weather, though she had to admit, green-leaf was always preferable to the snow. Not only because she was more camouflaged, but because it made for easier trips around, and much more fun when conspiring. Maybe that was just her though. Either way, the Priestess appreciated the little warmth of the day, and approached Hemlockgrove with a smile, offering him a nod of acknowledgement as she neared. "Enjoying the warmer weather?" She questioned.
"I'm not hating it." He replied rather monotone, though he tried to add a little more inflection into his words than he might normally. As he was talking to Foxstar after all. But he was and never would be a very expressive tom. Often at his most animated when with Honeysplash, and mostly because he had helped raise the younger tom, trusted him more than he trusted anyone else. To everyone else he was a closed off enigma; striking to look at but unapproachable. Except to those with just as much presence, such as Foxstar.

Foxstar was the same way, in a sense. She was far more expressive, of course, but each word and the sound of her voice was a carefully manufactured act, leaving cats to wonder if what she said was her true feelings, or yet another layer to the fox-heart's mask. All the same, the Priestess chuckled, nodding her agreement. "It'll be more pleasant when we're out of the rainy season and it's back to the Sun's rays."
Hemlockgrove looked over towards Foxstar but kept his silence, the small talk growing perhaps a bit to dry for him to play along with it anymore. He had never spoken to the other before, hadn't ever really observed her either. He knew very little about his own Priestess other than she was cruel, or so others saw her. Sometimes cruelty was just the byproduct of having to make hard choices. He couldn't say either way; if she was truly the monsters some might paint her to be or if it was all a matter of perspective. In the end it mattered very little to him, judgement of others was not someting he partook in.
Foxstar was skilled in small talk, admittedly. It was a skill that was necessary and often led to more interesting conversations where possible. She did find it incredibly boring however, and couldn't blame Hemlockgrove for his lack of enthusiasm. At least it gave her an excuse to change the conversation to something more interesting. "I have some errands to run outside the territory. Would you like to join me?" She questioned. If nothing else, it was an excuse for them to talk alone. While that didn't mean anything of note would come up, or that they would really converse at all, it created the potential for that. And allowed them both some time away from their clanmates.
"I can't see a reason to say no." He responded with a small one shouldered shrug. but despite his nonchalance his eyes were sharp as he looked towards Foxstar. He was curious as towards what these errands could be, even more intrigued by the fact that they were outside the territory. "In fact I might go as far to say I'm now perhaps a bit more intrigued than I would be otherwise had you simply said you had errands to run."
