Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Eternalstar knew her son wasn't the biggest fan of her, then again none of her children liked her; it had never bothered her and never would most likely. She actually was amused to see how he would react to her joining his first training session. "Brother." She spoke slipping into the warriors den and poking Electivememory with a paw. "Get up, it's your first training session with my son. I'll be tagging along of-course. I'm curious how you two will get on."
An amber eye blinked open, and soon the whole tom was getting up. Waking up to his sister was rare nowadays, Elelectivememory thought. "Are you sure it's wise to have a blood relative train him? He may not want to listen to anything I say." Still, he quickly stretched, then faced his sister, willing to get on with the day. He didn't need to question her decision to tag along. She had been jumpy these last few days, probably afraid of someone turning on her. She was probably showing up to everyone's training session.
"Eldritchpaw knows better." Was her firm response. "Besides, the poor think projects everything he is thinking, we'll know if he find disdain in my presence. Well in fact it might be hard to tell, seeing as he dislikes me even on his good days." Her words were delivered flippantly, the mother obviously having no problem that her own kits disliked her. Not a surprise when she had never had a motherly bone in her body, her first litter a mistake, and ever litter after a tool for her to use.
With a shrug, Electivememory decided not to question any further. His sister was an oddity, and sometimes he didn't wish to know exactly how she thought, though he had spent the time since she returned trying to figure out what she was thinking. Without another word, he padded past Eternalstar, heading towards the apprentice den. Eldritchpaw was gonna be in for a surprise, it seemed. Once they had arrived at the den, he poked his head in. "Eldritchpaw, time for training," he called.
Eternalstar sighed, waiting for her son to make an appearance. Her constant moving was staring to tire her but she refused to slow down. There was always so much to do, so much to worry about, and she couldn't let the world move on without her.
