Ravenstar gazed down on the young cats before her with pride. Nothing filled her with a sense of energy and love quite like calling the young cats of her clan to age and acknowledging them before all of Summerclan. She remembered her ceremony days quite well and rememberedd the fresh excitement and prospect of being recognized and it had always been quite thrilling for her. In a way, she saw her younger self in some of them and it only furthered her desire to help them become experienced warriors. "Congratulations to each of you. Sundapple, you may eat and receive your congratulations before sitting vigil for the night." She smiled warmly at the newly named warrior. It had been some time since Summerclan had named new warriors. She imagined they would be naming many more in the near future as well.
"Sundapple! Congratulations!" Lupinepatch greeted his friend immediately, rushing over to touch her shoulder with his nose. "It fits you so well." He purred. Her name was just as pretty as she was and suited her well. His mother has chosen the perfect fit, in his opinion at least.
Mudpaw's cheering was more like obnoxious screeching as she yelled out her friend's warrior name as loud as she possibly could, though sheepishly quieted down after getting hard looks from several of the older cats around her. After the ceremonies were over, the brown she-cat bolted over to her and Lupinepatch, glomping the new warrior in a large embrace.

Suedesplash's ear twitched as he heard his name attached to that of a newly appointed apprentice. Delighted his expression molded into a relaxed smile. "Congratulations Brackenpaw." he meowed padding to greet his new apprentice.

Lupinepatch chuckled at the two friends, remembering his littermates fondly for a few moments. He missed them sometimes when he say littermates or close friends. "Do you want to share prey?" He asked, pleased to beat Mudpaw to the question.
"Sure! Would you like to eat with us Mudpaw?" Asked Sundapple. It seemed rude to take off on the apprentice, even if she did want alone time with Lupinepatch. There would be plenty of time to spend with him later, and now that they were both warriors, they could even sleep next to each other!
Foxsnarl allowed himself a satisfied smile when his apprentice was made a warrior. She had earned it; they had trained long and hard, and he was proud of how she had turned out.
Mudpaw nodded eagerly, laughing. "Sure! Of course, I'm usually hungry anyway," she playfully added. "I'll meet you two over there!" As she immediately turned to pad away towards the fresh-kill pile, the apprentice glanced over her shoulder, taking a mental note of how Lupinepatch and Sundapple looked at each other, and smiled knowingly to herself.

"Congratulations, Sundapple. May Starclan and your ancestors light your new path." A gruff voice meowed from behind the warrior and Tuskblood gave a respectful nod before heading off to her own apprentice. "Crimsonpaw. Congratulations and good luck." She meowed, bending down to touch noses with the tom. There was a hint of warmness and pride to her voice as she greeted him.
Brackenpaw could barely hold back his excitement as he touched noses with his new mentor. "Thank you, Suedsplash. I am so excited to learn from you." He purred, trying to make his voice sound as calm as the older tom's.
Cabbagepaw gave a little skip of joy as she heard her new name called. An apprentice?! She had been waiting for this moment for so long!

"Th-Thanks," Crimsonpaw meowed. He was excited to receive a new mentor but he was still saddened at the loss of Hawkcreek, his previous one. A fear he held in his heart was just maybe he was the cause of his disappearance. He hoped Tuskblood wouldn't leave him too.
"Sounds good! Come on, let's go pick some prey before the new apprentices get at it." He purred, nudging Sundapple's shoulder playfully.

"I think I should be asking you that. This is your day, you were just promoted. Tell me your favorite and if it's not here I'll even go out and catch one myself," he announced with pride, planting a black foot down firmly to the ground with determination blazing in his dark brown eyes.
Sundapple let out a murrow of laughter. "As appealing as it sounds to send some of my favorite company in the Clan off to hunt, I'm quite happy with rabbit. T'was the first prey I ever caught myself." She purred, picking a good sized one from the pile and settling nearby, just off to the side so Lupinepatch could sit next to her.

"Good choice! Rabbit is my favorite as well but I think this mouse might be calling my name. Unless you need help eating that rabbit, of course." He grinned with amusement and looked over at the she-cat before picking up his own prey or moving over to her.
Sundapple purred and started nibbling her squirrel, happy to make the moment last as long as possible. Honestly, she'd hoped he'd share with her, but everything felt too perfect to complain. It almost made her weary. Every time Sundapple had felt this way in the past, disaster had rapidly followed. The thought made her pause.

He grabbed his mouse and sat close to her, chewing his food slowly. "How does it feel to be a warrior, now?" Lupinepatch asked, glancing over to her as he ate.
Forcing down the mouthful of food she had taken, Sundapple thrust the thought away. "I just hope I don't let anyone down. There's still so much I don't know." She admitted with a half a smile.
