The moonlight bounced off of her silver tabby pelt and she stretched her paws out in front of her. It was nice being back to her warrior duties and even being able to hunt and watch her kits now as apprentices. I never saw you being a mother a voice whispered to her from the darkness. "I know, huh? Me neither." She whispered back with a giggling, humming to herself as she approached the edge of the lake nearby. She enjoyed spending her evenings near the lake beach.
"Are you talking to yourself?" Goldfoil asked rather bluntly, "did I hear you say something?" It was possible she had imagined the whisper, or simply mistook the breeze as the sound of a cat whispering. But she was anything but subtle, used to her good looks getting out of any trouble her direct nature might bring her into. She had been wandering along the bank, simply trying to cool off after a failed hunt when she had thought she heard whispering. Following it to come across the other.

Soulmadness looked over her shoulder to see Goldfoil and smiled. "Oh, don't worry about it." She purred. "I was't expecting to see anyone out and about this evening. Out for a stroll?" She asked casually. The silver tabby warrior had learned by now that the others did not take too kindly to the voices she heard or her responding to them. It was best to keep it a secret and pretend as if there was nothing out of the ordinary.
"It's a nicer night than it is normally." Goldfoil said in explanation. "Seemed a shame to let it go to waste when I realized I couldn't sleep. Beside the moons bright enough tonight to provide plenty of light." Eyeing the other a little as she tried to decide if Soulmadness was telling the truth. The phrase 'don't worry about' almost seemed like conformation she had been speaking to herself. If Goldfoil had been mistaken she probably would have denied it rather definitely.

The silver tabby nodded along in agreement enthusiastically and looked back up at the unusually clear sky. "It is unusually nice." She echoed the warriors words with a small hum. "Care to walk down the beach with me?" She asked, tilting her head in Goldfoil's direction.
