Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
His rise to power had been a quiet one, but he suspected that this would not last long. Solaris E'tan was a respected figure within the League, and had been for years, but he was not a descendant of Vera, and her bloodline was so deeply woven into the fabric of the League that Solaris knew trouble lurked. He needed a Warden- someone who he could trust, at least minimally. One she-cat had stood out to him- a descendant of a former Nemesis, Aconite. However, he needed to investigate further. So he had sought her out one mild evening, his large ginger form materializing from the shadows. "Aconite. Would you patrol with me?"

Aconite would have jumped if she were any other cat. She turned around to face the shadows, her own pelt of white with black tabby stripes captured the shadows lingering tendrils as she stepped aside to make room for the Nemesis. "I would be happy to Solaris E'tan." She meowed giving a small nod in agreement.
Solaris inclined his head to indicate his thanks, setting off at a moderate pace towards the thick beach woods that bordered the coast of the island. He brushed through the thick undergrowth, ginger fur occasionally catching on thorns and bushes. After a few moments he slowed to a gentle step, letting Aconite walk alongside of him. "As you know, Vera E'tani has left the League, to return to her birth group." He spoke in a measured drawl. "I was curious as to what ideas you had for where the League should go from here."

Aconite's ears twitched in surprise. She would not have expected Solaris to asked any league wide opinions of her, especially considering her own once powerful bloodline. "I feel the league has significantly weekend under Vera's oppressive rule. If you want the loyalty of a Clan cat to his Leader life within out island needs to feel more at ease. Vera pitted brother against brother and in a way nearly broke this proud league. Though in turn I feel the outside world has nearly forgotten us and out prowess."
"I don't disagree." Solaris murmured in assent after she had finished speaking, considering her words carefully. Vera had ruled utterly, and that had left the League a place of isolation. Maybe there was space for redemption, though. Her answer boded well with him, so he asked the following. "So where do we go from here, if you had control?"
