Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
As a tyke, Cadet Zahira likely would have met her new mentor, but that did not make her any easier on the eyes. Her thick cream fur was soft as chick down and made for cuddling with, her left eye sweet and sparkling; but where she ought to have a matching right eye, she instead had a gaping wound filled with a glittering sapphire. Indeed, it was lucky for her new cadet that she had chosen to wear a gem in her eye instead of an eye previously belonging to another cat like the young Raiser often did, but it was only slightly less appalling.
Purring, Soigne bounded over to touch noses with Zahira and sweep her plumy tail over her back. "Welcome, welcome, young Raiser!" she exclaimed. "I'm so glad to have you join our little den!"
(So there was a mixup and apparently I rp Zahira not Blankslate cx)
Honestly, Soigne had always made Zahira a little nervous, but she was never one to judge by appearance alone so she was willing to give her new mentor a chance at least. Zahira smiled up at Soigne, excited to begin her training. "I can't wait to start training! Are we going to take care of the little ones today?" Honestly, the young she cat was not sure what all duties a Raiser was responsible for, but she could only assume that it involved caring for tykes day in and day out.
"Maybe, if we find time, but there's so much to do!" she agreed cheerfully. "We have to get you all moved into your new Post, after all! Or... did you already get everything ready?"
"I got my things moved over last night!" She had been so excited that she would be leaving Post Kilo for the time being. It was fun to sleep with all of the other cadets and it was definitely nice to sleep without being woken up by a tyke. Even if she wanted to be a raiser, she did enjoy her sleep. "Is there anything else we have to do?"
