Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(The fox that killed the original mother to Burningstar's adopted litter, had cubs and the cubs have struck NightClan's border. This patrol is open to all NightClan members, but racer, brightleaf, and fearful I'd love for you guys to reply as your cats! Thanks!)
Beetlepaw bolted into camp part of his side covered in blood, prominent bite marks on his side, and he was struggling to stay on his paws. "Foxes!" He wailed at the top of his lungs. "Foxes on the border!"
At the sound of her son's distressed mew, Duskwing poked her head out and gasped. "Beetlepaw! Turbulentpaw! Brightpaw come quick!" She wailed hurrying to her son who collapsed to the ground, growing faint from the blood he was losing.
Burningstar emerged from the nursery, Soaringbird at her side. The ginger leader's eyes narrowing. "Cats of NightClan join me under the high branch!" She called.
Larkwing rose to his paws urgently from the fresh-kill pile. His meal would have to wait, he decided, hurrying to the high branch. Adreniline pulsed through his veins as anticipation began to rise in waited for what Burningstar had to say. He was tempted to just leave camp and go after the foxes himself but he knew that was a death wish. Besides, Burningstar would probably have his throat for that stunt.

"Yikeyikeyikeyike.." Brightpaw muttered as she rushed over to Beetlepaw with mounds of cobwebs in her mouth. She spat it out and began working on his wounds. "You're going to be ok, they're deep. But some pressure and you'll be fine. Hey, stay awake, start talking about what happened with the foxes to me." She instructed. She looked at Duskwing, hoping she would realize how unsure she was about her actions.
Turbulentpaw emerged from the den that he shared with Brightpaw, carrying alder tree bark and burdock leaves. As Brightpaw held pressure on the wounds with the cobwebs, he began to chew it into a pulp. With any sort of bite wounds, he worried a lot about infections, and the burdock leaves would help the wounds heal a little faster.
As the bleeding slowed, he motioned for Brightpaw to removed the soiled cobwebs as he applied the mixture to the wounds and began to bind them. They would also need to give him something for pain, but they needed him awake enough to be able to tell everyone what had happened.
"Yes which border were they at" he prompted, but he wasn't as good at soothing patiants as Brightpaw.
"Mountain border," Beetlepaw whimpered at the sting as Brightpaw and Turbulentpaw treated his wounds, Duskwing hovering nearby the she cats eyes filled with worry for her son.
Burningstar shifted her focus to address the clan. "Cats of NightClan, one of apprentices was attacked and severely wounded by foxes, from the sound of it there were many. Brightpaw, Turbulentpaw, is the patient able to offer any more information?"
"It was from the mountain border!" Duskwing yowled marching forwards. "we need to flay them at once! We should take a large force to obliterate the fiends!" The worried queen shrieked.
Burningstar nodded. "They will be dealt with, but we need to know how many."
Duskwing turned towards her son, "How many?" She asked Beetlepaw trying to be gentle but there was an urgency in her mew.
Beetlepaw groaned. "Two I think?" He said wincing.
"Two." Duskwing reported to the ginger leader who nodded grimly.
"Then we'll need a large patrol of cats to deal with this. Larkwing, gather several cats to take with you I can see you are eager to go."
"I'll go too." Frozenfire said lifting her chin, "Those pieces of fox dung are going to be shredded." The she cat vowed.

Twilightpaw gave a yowl as she hopped forward. "I want to go with Frozenfire! I'll take it down easily!":
Brightpaw rolled her eyes as spoke. "Ok, Beetlepaw, let's get you to the medicine den. You need rest." She spoke quietly to the apprentice. "Duskwing? Can you carry him?" She asked.
She turned to Burningstar. "Would you like one of us to go with the patrol in case of injuries?"
Duskwing nodded and immediately picked up her son, carrying Beetlepaw carefully over to the medicine cat den.
Burningstar hesitated considering Brightpaw. "I would rather not risk one of our medicine cats..." She admitted. They had lost Mercury after all. She didn't want to risk these young ones. She turned to Bruniaberry and Bleakwind. "If one of you two would like to accompany her, I would think that'd be best to ensure her safety." She said.
Bleakwind nodded. "We could both go if you'd like Burningstar." He offered rising to his paws.
Turbulentpaw turned to Brightpaw, with a dip of his head. She was more suited to the task of going with the patrol, his own thin body ill suited to combat if it came down to it "lets get you a bundle of emergency herbs to take with you"
After a few moments he emerged with a bundle of herbs wrapped in leafs to make it easier to carry. Luckily the two of them had been stocking up on their herb storage thanks to Bruniaberry and Bleakwind's assistance. The two apprentices were becoming more like real medicine cats with each passing day, slowly gaining the confidence of the cats that they served. "I put the herbs and materials you will need to stabalize anyone that get hurts, so that you can get them back to camp. They will probably need more treatment when they get back, but I also didn't want to give you to much to carry."

"Thank you, Turbulentpaw. I hope things go well. I'll be back soon." She assured Turbulentpaw. He had become a more formidable medicine cat than she was, so at least she was a bit more expendable, but she had become fast friends with him. "I'm ready." She stated.
Twilightpaw paced impatiently. "Larkwing, I can go right? I'm fast enough, I can grab more warriors if needed."
Larkwing nodded to Twilightpaw. Twilightpaw was quite fast. "Okay. You can come. Everyone ready?" He gave one last look around at his clanmates before heading off, "lets move out." He had a great team with him. Hopefully the foxes would just see the patrol and turn tail. But in reality, that probably wont happen.
As they neared the mountain border, the stench of fox grew stronger and Larkwing had to hold back a gag. "Keep a look out for those foxes" Larkwing ordered to his patrol.

Twilightpaw scrunched up her face. "Yuck, that's horrible." She spat. As she walked beside Brightpaw.
"For once, I agree with you. Blechh." Brightpaw agreed. Maybe Twilightpaw wasn't so bad, but she wasn't getting her hopes up. She looked at Bleakwind. "Are foxes really big? Like, they could eat you in one bite big?" She fretted.
So sorry I'm late, I didn't realized you tagged me! ]
Allencatch heard the screaming of his apprentice and rushed to his side, the length of his body covered in cobwebs from an attack. He smelled the stench and fox and sneezed. It only made him more angry. Beetlepaw seemed so curious while he was training him; he hated to see him injured, and hoped he would only be the same after today.

Allencatch caught up with the patrol in enough time to have not had spotted the foxes quite yet. "Where are they?" he asked angrily.
Larkwing faced Allencatch, "we havent seen them yet. But dont get too far ahead of yourself. Beetlepaw said he saw two but there could be more." The silver tabby tom turned to look for signs. He noticed pawprints first before noticing blood and bits of Beetlepaw's fur. "It looks like this is where Beetlepaw was atta-"
Before he could say anymore there was rustling in the leaves on the forest floor as if something big was dragging their paws to purposely strike fear into their opponent, or perhaps prey. Larkwing heart leaped and he swung his head in all directions, his ears swivelling as he tried to pinpoint the sound and he wasnt sure if that was the only one. He caught a glimpse of red fur between the brambles on the forest floor. He fluffed up his fur and waited for the fowl creature to launch.
One fox emerged out of the undergrowth and another approached from the other side, circling them and revealing sharp teeth. Drool was dripping from their pointed snouts.
The foxes moved in, closer and closer. "On my word, we scatter" He whispered to his patrol. Just as the foxes launched at them, Larkwing yowled, "NOW!" He leaped to the side and raked his claws down the side of one of the foxes. He hoped his patrol was able to scatter in time. He spun around to see where everyone was.
