Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Berryfrost was leaving the nursery for the first time in moons since her kits had been born. All she wanted was a few hours outside of the camp's walls, freedom in a sense, was that too much to ask for? Maybe her mate would join her? They could take a stroll. Or she could hop on the next patrol out or join a hunting group.
"Oh, that sounds wonderful." Berryforst made her way towards the other cat and from there to the camp entrance. "Was there anywhere in particular you were wanting to go? I was just hoping to escape the kits for a bit, so I don't care either way."
"Sure, lead the way." Berryfrost looked around camp for anyone else that would want to join them. The bigger the group, the more they coud bring back. And also to make sure none of her kits had followed her escape out of the nursery.

Stonefang noticed his mate and Protectingshadows talking near the camp entrance. He knew Berryfrost hadn't hardly left the nursery since the arrival of their kits. "Hi!" he meowed as he approached the pair. "Are you thinking about heading out for awhile? I'd like to join you if you are and if you don't mind."
"That's fine with me, love!" Berryforst grinned at her mate, excited that they'd be going out together. She didn't even care that they wouldn't be alone, time spent with Stonefang no matter how was always good in her mind. "Protectingshadows, did you have anywhere planned?"

Stonefang was excited at the prospect of spending time with his mate outside the nursery. It'll be like the hunting patrols we used to go on together, he thought eagerly. He was so happy he stumbled upon the two before they left. He looked at Protectingshadows waiting for her response to Berryfrost's query.

"Good idea," Stonefang agreed. He liked the idea of going as far as the borders because it meant their outing would be a long one. It would be nice to spend all that time again with Berryfrost.
"Sounds perfect to me! Lead the way." Berryfrost knew she'd be the slowest in the group, having spent the last moons in the nursery. She was out of shape, lazy, but glad to be moving again. Beats sitting around watching her kits chase butterflies and beetles. As much as she loves them, she'd love time to just be a warrior too.
The tom nodded firmly and began to head towards the border. His movement were swift, but not so swift that the she-cat would be unable to keep up. Every now and then, he glanced back to make sure they were keeping up.

"So how does it feel to be out of the camp once again?" Stonefang asked Berryfrost as they walked together. "I know I'd go stir crazy if I had to stay in. Did that once before and I don't want to repeat it." He was thinking of the time he spent as a kit in the nursery. He couldn't wait to be made an apprentice back then.
"Oh, it's been fine. Kits keep you busy. Especially, Deerkit. SHe's been trying to sneak out." Berryfost, not wanting to ignore their other companion, bumped tails with Protectingshadows. "SO how's it been? I haven't really gotten to talk to anyone but kits lately. And let me tell you the same bug is not interesting five kits later." She couldn't tell you how many times the kits would bring her the same bug or see one crawling past and all of them want to show it to her. That went for any of the kits in the nursery, not just hers.

"I know I've been busy," Stonefang added. "It seems I've been assigned to one patrol after another." Then he gave a little laugh. "And what do I do the first time I get any free time in a long while? I go on a patrol!" He gave Berryfrost a gentle nudge. "But I would have been very upset if I missed this one."
"Oh? Well, I'll trade you. You can watch your rebel daughter. The other two are tame compared to her. Most days, at least." There were a few times where she'd been pulled thin because they were all acting up in different areas and ways throughout the camp. Berrfyfrost merely grinned at the tom, he'd helped on those days. Though sometimes, it was like she had to demand time with her mate with all the patrols he ended up on.

"Deerkit? You couldn't possibly mean our well behaved, wonderful daughter," he teased, with mock surprise written on his face. "But now as I think about, I believe she does take after your side of the family. I hear that her mother has a bit of a rebellious streak leaving the nursery for a walk around the territory." Stonefang enjoyed the playful banter they shared.
