Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Hemlockgrove lingered on the edges, walking the fringes of camp and scanning those going about their daily activities. Looking for a very specific tom, looking for the pain in the tail that he kept around; though he found himself question that decision more and more lately. The moment he spotted the pretty tom, his steps cut through clanmates easily. Ear twitching in amusement as the moved seamlessly out of his way. "Honeysplash." He hummed, tone soft but still somehow casting to the others ears.
"HEMMYY!!!" rang out Honeysplash's voice, easily cutting trough all the white noise of the other cat's voices as he came racing over to the looming figure that was Hemlockgrave. He stared upwards with wide blue eyes with adoration as he reached up on his hind legs playfully batting at his whiskers "Your back, your back" he chimed in cheerfully.
He snuggled in closely, a loose purr rumbling freely in his throat. "I thought you were gonna be gone fooorrreevveeeerr. Please don't leave me again Hemmy"he pleaded, his bottom lip quivering slightly.
The sigh Hemlockgrove released was long suffering but drowning in the affection, the pleasure in Honeysplash's exuberant greeting. Taking solace in how happy the other tom was to see him even if he was being over dramatic. "If you're going to be this dramatic perhaps we should find somewhere quieter. You're disturbing everyone around." He hummed, raising a brow and tossing a look around at the cats staring at them. Sharp golden eyes sending their gazes away or even having the perpetrator themselves hurrying off.
"Oh let them stare" a grin widening upon his face. He didn't really mind having all eyes on him, in fact it made him blossom. He loved being the center of attention, no matter what sort of attention that he was recieving. "They just wish they were adorable as us!!" his laughter was light and airy, as if he was as concerned about the stares as a bird with fish in the water.
"While you were gone, me and Whiskers made the bestest nest ever. It is so soft, and I even lined it with feathers! You work so hard and I wanted to make sure you would be able to get a gooooodddd nights rest" The little tom motioned to the stuffed bunny that he always carried with him that was sitting on the nest that he had prepared. Most cats thought of it as odd, but it was one of the only things he had from his mother.
"That was very sweet of you Honey bun." Hemlockgrove chuckled, as he looked towards the nest. "Though its still a tad early for me to try it out. Unless you fancy a nap?" He examined Honeysplash for any signs of fatigue. Knowing the other could get caught up in his games which left him to neglect himself at times, or at-least neglect himself in the eyes of Hemlockgrove and his exacting standards. "What have you been occupying yourself with while I've been away?" He asked as he slowly started edging forward, letting Honeysplash have time to pull away once he realized Hemlocksgrove to start moving. "And how has Whiskers been?"
Instead of pulling away, Honeysplash remained pressed up against his paws as the older cat walked never being seperated from the bigger tom. "But I'M NOT TIRED" he whinned, in reference to Hemlockgrove suggesting a nap. "I didn't do to much today. After working on the nest, I picked flowers for Gem" he replied, thinking about his newest conquest that he had brought into the clan. The most recent she-cat to fall under his spell, believing that he loved her. Really the only one he cared for was Hemlockgrove, but none of the she-cats knew that. Hemlockgrove was like an older brother, his protector, his best friend.
"and then me and Whiskers went to the river and splashed around, oh and then I got a thorn in my paw" he held up his paw that was wrapped in cobwebs "it hurt so bad, but I made Gem kiss it and make it better" he added matter of factly
Hemlockgrove's lips curled in snide amusement at Honeysplash's words, thinking of this 'Gem'. "You'll have to introduce me to her then Honeysplash. And you thoroughly dried Whiskers after your splashing yes? Hes going to gain a smell if you don't take proper care of him like he takes care of you." At times the large tom had a tendency to baby Honeysplash, despite knowing that a lot of his tendencies were exaggerated for appearance sake. But every time Hemlockgrove saw the small tom he saw them back when they were kits and he was a lost little thing with nothing and nobody.
