Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Constellations, stars, and planets. They made up the night sky. One such planet stood out more than all of the others, even though it couldn't really be seen. Pluto, the same planet, the same god, he was named for. It was an honor to be named such and Pluto treated it as such. MOst nights when he didn't ahve a patient to deal with, he foudn himself out admiring the sky, searhing for the planet he was named after.
She was named for the roman equivalent of the greek goddess of Hera, a woman that, in mythology, was seen as the queen of the gods, the matriarch at the side of Zeus. Her life was not nearly as fantastic as what was depicted though; as it were, she waddled as gracefully as she could to Pluto’s side and, with some effort, took a seat beside him, her belly swollen with kits. She never hated him exactly. Found him unnerving, yes, but her task in this life was to care for her siblings, no matter how odd they were, and she was trying her best. She wasn’t cut out for motherhood, which was ironic. But she’d sought out the tom after being avoided for a moon and figured she’d start out light. “Beautiful evening.” She grunted and shifted herself into a more comfortable position.
Surprised, the tom barely managed a head nod as a greeting. What was his dear older sister doing here, talking to him of all cats? Pluto had been outcasted by his siblings years ago for his "death obsession", as they called it, and for being so...weird. He'd grown so comfortable, so use to not seeing any of his siblings. It was almost nice. While he was still an outcast among the clan, he had a role that he could fall back on and performed it as well as could be expected of him. Which allowed him more breathing space and a little less judgment, not much though. Though he didn't really care, he quite liked his position and his "obsession."
