Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Bloodkit sat by himself, watching the other kits play and tussle. Most of the other kits were to afraid of him to invite him to join in their games. He did look rather scary after all... His face was squished in, and the tips of his prominent canines sticking out from the edges of his lips.
He was also rather musuclar, looming over the other kits with his height. Bloodkit sighed, laying down and closing his eyes.
Echokit had been chasing a falling leaf when she suddenly felt a body underneath her paws that sent her tumbling to the ground. She landed on her chin and her back paws went airborn before landing back onto the ground with a thud. She sat up, rubbing her chin and soon realized she had tripped over Bloodkit. "Oops! I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" she asked, her green eyes holding concern. She hadn't met Bloodkit before. She was recently rescued. But the odd looking tom didn't frighten her at all. She acted as if he was just another kit to her.
His eyes snapped open, and he scrambled to his feet as the other kit went tumbling over him. He narrowed his eyes, looking down at the little black and white kit, mouth slightly open to show his teeth. Yet instead of being scared, she seemed more concerned that she had managed to hurt him.
He blinked, sitting down and curling his tail around his paws. "Uhm.. yeah..." he grumbled, leaning back to put a piece of fur into place. He wasn't really sure how to react to all the attention, for the only ones that usually talked to him was his adooptive mother and siblings.
"You want to play with me?" he questioned opening one eye. Not many cats invited him to play, so it really caught him off guard. Especially after he had been so grumpy to her.
Honestly he wasn't so sure that game was a good idea... After all last time he played this game, no one came to find him. He hid for hours, and his play-mates forgot about him completly.. "I... well ok... Can I try to find you?"
"Okay!" she squeaked. "Close your eyes and I will shout to you when I am ready for you to find me! No peaking!" She bounded away on tiny black legs and rounded the nursery until she found a little cover within a patch of brambles.
Bloodkit nodded, closing his eyes "One....two...three..." he counted aloud. At least this way, f this was some sort of trick he wouldn't be the one left hiding for hours. He could always just stop looking
"four...five...six" He began to think about how he was going to find Echokit. He wasn't very good at tracking, his smushed in nose making it difficult to determine where scents were coming from. Not to mention that camp was filled with the scents of a bunch of cats, distorting even strong scents.
"seven...eight...nine...."he took in a deep breathe getting ready to search. "10 ready or not here I come" his eyes opened, and began to search the camp
