Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Gem giggled, as she turned over the shiny stone that she had found for Honeysplash. The more it moved in the light, the more it glimmered like glitter. It reminded her of the way his dreamy fur looked after being freshly groomed. He was just perfect! He was adorable, and so full of energy. He was always checking in on her to make sure that she was doing ok and bringing her little gifts. This stone was nothing compared to what he had done for her, but it was a start "it's perfect!" she declared.
If it hadn't been for him, she would have never known about SunClan. Sure it had been scary to leave her human behind, but it had been worth it to be with him. He was everything that she had imagined and more.
"What have you got there?" Frostpaw was approaching Gem. While the pretty white she cat put on a friendly face most of the time, she had to if she wanted to surpass her sister who seemed to be friendly with everyone even when most of her clanmates annoyed her in all honesty. She came to a halt in front of gem and was now looking down at her and the stone she seemed to be fixated on.
"Good morning!" The soothsayer gave a wide smile to the two of them. His green eyes were blank, but that wasn't unusual for the tom. "What did you find?"
"It's a stone for Honeysplash, isn't it perfect" she purred, dropping the stone and moving it around for the other two cats to look upon. It was white, with swirls of brown. It reminded her of his beautiful coat. It was also small enough that he would be able to keep it in his nest without it being a bother.
"He has done so much for me, so I wanted to do a little something for him. I know it's not a lot, but I really hope that he will like it!It reminds me of his coat" the pure joy that seemed to be radiating from the she-cat was clear for all to see.
It was annoying. How could anyone be that happy over a simple stone? While she would have loved nothing more than to crush this little kit's spirit, she couldn't' do so with the Soothsayer around. "Oh, Gem was just showing me a stone she plans on giving to Honeysplash." Frostpaw gave Dragonswrath a pleasant smile. "I must say it is a lovely stone. I'm sure Honeysplash will love it."
"I won't" she replied puffing out he chest slightly. It might have just been a stone, but to her it was more than that. A little token of her gratitude for taking her to SunClan and for loving her.
"I just wanted to do something special for him, to see his face light up" she could still see how much he enjoyied the little stuffed bunny that he carried around, and she hoped that this would have the same effect.
"That is very kind of you." Frostpaw smiled. "So is it a decoration for his nest?" She kept her tone casual and curious. She knew a few cats that liked to decorate their nest so the question wasn't too odd.
"I was going to let him decide..." she tilted her head, though the decoration idea made a lot of sense. He might choose to use it in that way, but Honeysplash was so creative that he might do something completly unexpected with it.
"He does a lot of odd things. Like he has a stuffed bunny that he carries around and how he acts like Hemlockgrove is his brother even though they are not related. He is always doing something that I couldn't have forseen. It keeps me on my toes"
