Spellmania was ecstatic! Not a few days prior, and Strikhedoniadalisay had been her mentor, and now, the granddaughter of Foxstar was mentoring her own mentor's child. The newly named warrior couldn't be happier to have instantly been given an apprentice, and she had half a mind to kill Duskpaw now, so that he could be her apprentice forever, that's how happy she was. Instead, she supposed she and her apprentice could blow off their steam by murdering others, instead of just themselves. That was if he arrived soon, anyway.
The tiny she-cat, not even the size of an apprentice, with kit-like ebony fluff for fur and mismatched eyes of gold and copper bounced around in anticipation, waiting for the tom to show. He'd be here soon, right? She expected so. Hoped so, anyway.
Duskpaw laid low to the ground, his gaze flicking back and forth from the rock to the bush. Rock. Bush. Rock. Bush. Rock. Bush. ROOOOOOCK.
Wielding with what felt like the power of the Sun God he used all his might to thrust the rock into the bush with a satisfying crash followed by the cry of a family of black birds. The birds descended out from the bush in a swarm crying out in pure panic as the fluttered away, "Hah! Birds," Duskpaw snickered, "Yeah, stay out of our territory you dummies!"
He began to walk further into SunClan territory, this was fun. Now that he was an apprentice he could go anywhere he wanted. Except gatherings, but who needed those? It was going to suck when he had to grow up and go talk to a bunch of boring cats, be he supposed it made sense. SunClan was pretty cool, it made sense that his clan was generous enough to make other clans days by going to the gathering. They were so charitable like that.
"INTRUDER!" Duskpaw cried out as he noticed a mouse and began barging after it as though he were a dog after a squirrel. He didn't yet realize that being an apprentice meant he actually had to learn things with a mentor.

By the time it had been a few minutes too late, Spellmania grew bored of waiting, and set out on her own, slightly disappointed. Should have been more clear. Oops. Of course, her sour mood didn't last long as the tiny she-cat turned the idea around instantly into being a game. How long would it take her to find him? Under five minutes, and they would get to go beyond the border and have some fun with their training. Anything longer... and well they'd just find something fun to do on the territory. This wasn't really a lose-lose sort of game in her mind, as she had an idea brewing to go and invade the Janus' space if she took to long in finding Duskpaw.
So the she-cat started skipping away from the hollow, scenting the breeze for her apprentice, her childish voice rising into the air. "Oh Duskpaw!" The warrior sang, bouncing along without so much as a care in the world. "Where are you?"
Duskpaw's head shot up with a squirrel in his mouth as he trotted over to Spellmania, "Check it out, I killed an intruder," he muffled through the fur.
He spat the squirrel onto the ground, "Honestly, this was way harder than I thought it would be, the thing was fast, kept climbing trees, finally I just body slammed the thing up against a rock repeatedly. We better move quick, I killed the squirrel, but I was witnessed by a sparrow. Now I know the squirrel clan and sparrow clan have been on neutral terms, but I do think they are in a good enough relationship that the sparrow will tell the other squirrels about my crimes and will come after me. I suggest we take up underground. That's where Squirrels bury their nuts. We will then take the squirrels nuts right under their noses and hold them hostage. Call the squirrels for a secret underground meeting and negotiate that we'll give their nuts back only if they let me leave with my life in tact the way I came in with. I think this calls for a name change. How about Ashfields. Or Ashpaw if you want me to be an apprentice I guess. What will your alias be?"
"How about we first train you to take on the squirrels? The more skilled you are, the better chance you have of fighting any creature that comes your way. Make it a trivial thing and show them you're to be feared." Spellmania giggled at the idea of these prey clans, though she supposed it made things rather easy to convince Duskpaw to train with her. "In fact, how about we start by infiltrating the Janus tunnels? Map out their lands and find the nut stores. Even if the squirrels find out, they'll know it isn't safe, and then where will they have to go, when cats roam both above and below the ground?"
"Yeah sure, we have to do what we can before it's too late. Spellmania, I just want you to know whatever happens down in those tunnels that I know you'll have my back and I'll have yours. But if the squirrels get us," His voice cracked, "If we... If one of us makes it out, I want it to be you. Now let's go down there and kick some tail," He said fiercely with such a strong determined look a cat could have thought he'd went from hell and back, seen the worst of the world and kept walking when in truth he was just in character of Ashfields.

"It's a good thing we'll both be making it out then." She giggled, already moving. Glowstar would kill her if she let him get hurt. Of course, that thought was incredibly exciting, to be killed by her former mentor, so Spellmania probably wasn't going to be as careful as she ought to be.
