Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
There was nothing easy about being glamorous. Everyday was a battle and all it took was one unlucky day to get stabbed and bleed out on the battlefield. It took luck and it took savage courage to live in SunClan where the weak were buried early and the strong became the villains. Not that it bothered her much. But there was one thing that did separate her from the suck ups and the dimwits and that was her selfish nature. She did care about someone back when she was initiated and caring about him made her care about SunClan with all her heart. Now though she realized he was a player and just like players they focused on winning and not on the game of love itself. That left her with the unusual trait of caring more about herself than literally anyone. Her little secret. After all this was a battle field, say the wrong thing and care about the wrong people and that'll land you in heaven a little sooner than you expected.
Autumngossamer stretched out her slender athletic build. She was an angel of gilded fire. Gorgeous bronze and silver light traced the tips of her white fur like fairy lights. She wasn't just beautiful, it was the kind of beauty that was like the sun, the kind you were afraid to look at, but was so beautiful no one could tear their gaze from. Her honey brown eyes fastened on a she-cat she hadn't noticed before. A little nobody that had faded so far into the background that she may have just walked past her, but now she was curious. Curious if she was useful, "Did you do something to your fur, you look cute today!" She enthused to Flawedperspective.
Her compliments were as deadly as poison, slow, but effective.
Flawedperspective was shocked to have another cat even speaking to her. Most days, she kept to herself and out of hands way. Doing as she's asked and trying in vain to not be a burden on her mother and the rest of the clan. Being the daughter of the High Priestess got her much in life, but respect was not one such thing and she understood that. So to have someone compliment her--at all--was a shock. "I-I um..no?" The poor shy, she-cat stumbled out the words after dropping her flowers she'd been carrying.
The brown agouti tabby was blushing at the words delt her way. No one had even called her cute, or really said anything nice to her. Sure, Indigosight did, but even then there were times where she wasn't sure he knew what she was doing since he's blind and that she didn't deserve the compliment.
"Oh my goooosh, you're so modest it's like. Totally adorable. Honestly you act like no one's given you a compliment before," She gasped before Flawedperspective had time to answer, "That isn't true is it? Hey can I spend the day with you, I'm trying to avoid life and all that and you seem cool," Autumngossamer said.
Hopefully that was enough compliments and enthusiasm for her to accept the invite and then hopefully she could get to know her. Like how she could be useful in literally any way at all. Being sugar sweet to everyone she encountered was a full time job after all. She expected payment in their value and could only hope she wasn't wasting her time, but she had a good idea that Flawedperspective wasn't as flawed as everyone made her out to be. If she was the only cat that could see her potential than that was only greater for her.
