Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Fernshadow hesitated. This would be her second apprentice in a short time... She didn't know what had happened to make Fawnpaw leave... But she was determined to not fail. Especially the nephew of the leader! That would be terrible.
The thought almost sent Fernshadow running... But the shy she cat managed to rein in her nerves as she made her way to the apprentice den.
"Uh... Blazepaw?" Fernshadow called after a moment. "It's time for training." She meoewed.
Blazepaw emerged from the apprentice's den, with a smile onhis face. He had been looking forward to his apprenticeshipbut he was also very nervous. Would Fernshadow understand his tremors? Most cats did not, and held it against him. He had been told over and over again thathe would never be a warrior, that he was a liability.
He tried to be possitive though, and put his trust in his new mentor. Blazingstar had chosen her to teach him for a reason, so hopefully even if she didn't understand, she would at least be able to teach him how to overcome it. "I'm ready Fernshadow"
Fernshadow nodded. "Good, that's good." She said trying to calm her nerves. She cleared her throat. "Right! Well what would you like to start with?" She asked him. "Patrol? Hunting? Battle training?" Perhaps she had smothered Fawnpaw and what she needed to do was be more open, let her apprentice pick what they'd like to start off with first.
Was this some sort of test? But looking at he more carefully, she seemed just as nervous as he was. He looked down at the ground, trying to figure out what to say. Should he bring up his tremors or just wait and see? "Well, before we begin I should probably tell you something"
It was possible that she already knew, but if she didn't then training could put him in danger "I.. I'm not really sure how you are going to feel about this. You may even want a diferent apprentice, and I would understand" he paused taking a deep breathe. It was hard for him to talk about it, knowing that most cats believed he should never become a warrior
"Ever since I was little, I have suffered from these tremors.. Most of the time the only last for a few seconds and it just makes it difficult to move, but other times I can't move at all. It like I'm telling my legs to move, but nothing happens"
