Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"They wouldn't." Skye reassured her, though he wasn't so sure. He quieted as they emerged into the blinding light of the upper world, standing rooted in the tunnel entrance as his eyes adjusted. "It sure is bright." He grumbled, tail lashing.
Mirage poked her head out into the sunlight for the first time in her life. Skye was right, it was incredibly bright above ground. She blinked quickly and when her eyes finally adjusted and she could see she was taken aback by the outside world. It was beautiful in a way she didn't imagine it being. "Wow! This is incredible!" She breathed.
Skye forgot momentarily that he had 'already been to the surface', and stood staring around in open-mouthed amazement. "Yeah." He chuckled to himself, green eyes sweeping the incredibly detailed landscape. It couldn't compare to the monochrome tunnels he was used to. "It's so open... what do we do?"
"Sure, sure." Skye seemed to recover his courage, his gray tabby tail lifted high as he strutted forward, enjoying the splash of sunshine across his shoulders.
With another cautious glance around Mirage stalked slowly out of the tunnels and into the sunlight. "Why would anyone want to be out when it's this bright?" She questioned to no one in particular, following Skye to the treeline.
"Maybe it gets better." Skye tried to sound positive, though the glare was still burning his eyes just a little. When a bird burst from a nearby bush he nearly leaped out of his skin, blinking rapidly. "Geez."
