Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It was rare for the little kit to find time to herself, without her mother hovering over her. Corvus was unusually protective of her kits – at least, Corax-chan thought it unusual with how she saw her peers were treated. Then her father seemed the opposite. Corvus rarely spoke of the father of her kits, and honestly, the black-furred she-kit couldn’t even remember if she had so much as spoken the tom’s name in the past. She couldn’t really bring herself to mind, though. At least it meant she didn’t have two parents to worry about hovering over her.
She did have a second cat that didn’t leave her alone, though. It was a familiar voice by now, echoing in the back of her mind. Even now, it urged her on. Her mother was out hunting, and now was as good a time as any for the little kit to do the same. She’d inevitably have to grow up fast in a place like the League. Under her breath, Corax-chan meowed back, “No, ma says it’s too dangerous out there.” She instead paced around the edge of the common grounds, waiting impatiently for Corvus to return. Only when her paws, not quite by her own volition, turned towards the path out of the hollow did she stop, digging her claws into the ground as she hissed, “You can’t make me…”
