Shut up. This is serious. My paw is BLEEDING. HURRY UP.
Scout Cadet Tundra bustled herself down the earthly hall. She trotted with a gimp and avoided setting her right forepaw down as much as she could. In her awkward jog, her left foot was caught by the protruding root of a tree, and she nearly landed on her face. Instead, she involuntarily stamped her right forepaw down to keep from colliding into the ground, and yelped as a sharp pain shot through her foreleg. Then, she fell anyway. She writhed on the ground, holding her right forepaw close to her chest. "Ahhhh, ah ha ha.." She laughed sheepishly and winced, waiting for the pain to subside, then merely went limp to release herself from any and all effort. "Just kill me now."

"Well killing you would certainly end the current problem with your forepaw, but I think it would create a large issue in that you would then be dead." Zaire hummed as he peered down towards the flopping cadet. The guider tilting his head as he considered her, trying to place how he knew her, knowing he had passed her within the tunnels before. But in the end he realize he would be unable to place her designation and name by trying to sort through brief glimpses in old memories. "If your amendable to a solution other than killing you then I think I can help you out."

Great! Here comes somebody else to watch this next episode of Tundra's Actually An Idiot. Now I seem like even more of a fool, having fell all over the floor like this. Even after berating herself for being so clumsy, she made no effort whatsoever to look up or move. It was clear that she was in a dejected state, her tail didn't even twitch. She was prone to the drama and endless peril of sorrow and daily life; she closed her yellow eyes. Life, she speculated, is definitely a joke. Miss Melodramatic's nose crinkled, and the queen of all the terrible comedy in the world replied sullenly with, "Do it quick. That's all I ask."
Shaking his head and a small chuckle escaping him Zaire shook his head at the cadet, though she wouldn't see it so caught up in her dramatics as she was. Shifting he sat back on his haunches and tilted his head, watching her in silence. Curious to see how long it would take her to give up on her theatrics and perhaps lend consideration towards his offer of aid. The tom didn't quite know how to convince her past what he had already said so waiting it out seemed his only option.

Her face had been scrunched as she awaited the final blow. Thereafter the time it took to figure out that it would not come, the pain subsided in her foot and she opened a yellow eye. The young, foolish Cadet looked up at the steady Guider, finally realizing his face. She sighed very dejectedly; she would not be put to rest today. She'd have had more luck if he was a Mercenary or a Scout. "Fine, then." She groaned and stood herself up, extra careful not to drop her paw this time, and shook her pelt free from the dirt she had been laying in.

Zaire gave a soft smile, tempted to tell her he was proud of her but knowing that she probably wouldn't want to hear those words. Turning he waved his tail in signal for her to follow him before he set off slowly back towards the garden. Not wanting to rush them and irritate her injury. "How did you hurt yourself?" He decided to ask, seeing as he actually didn't know what had happened. She could have been being bullied by the other cadets before he arrived for all he knew.

"Now, that's none of your business." She pointedly replied to him and followed along with a gimp. Embarrassed by the cause, she did not want to openly admit to her mistake. Her eyes avoided meeting his, and she watched the ground carefully for any sticks or stones in her path.

"Alright. I suppose I'll just have to make up some ridiculous story. Perhaps you forgot how to walk?" He teased as they entered the garden, a sanctuary to those sick or hurting. "Go wait anywhere you want while I grab some herbs." Honestly she probably needed very little other than rest, but the placebo of having 'treatment' would help as well.
