Change was on the horizon. The world waited with baited breath for the tension to break and the storm to start, though no one seemed to know exactly what was brewing. DayClan, SpringClan, even MoonClan's capture was only the start, and even what was coming, the reason Berrystep was here, walking in the dreams of a cat she had only been able to see in infancy, through the fever dreams and waning strength that had plagued her in the wake of the fire, was only the beginning. The beginning of what? She didn't know. Given the Priestess who ruled SunClan's territory, anything could happen.
The dream had been an interesting one, full of shadows and shapes that Twilightbell couldn't properly see, of kittens and a tom whose clan currently bowed to the might of lions. She'd never been blind, and seeing the world, even in this state, in the way of her daughter was both interesting, and greatly saddening. In a way, she felt responsible for the disability, even knowing that the trait ran in Nightshadeintution's family. If she'd just been healthier, if she'd never gone to the training hollow, than none of this would have happened, right? It was a foolish way to think, as she knew deep down, there was nothing she could have done, but it didn't stop the thoughts.
With her presence, the dream transformed into the Burial Grounds, to a certain grave, the path to it well worn. Berrystep sat on top of the place, where in the real world, her body would lay, watching the Promised closely as fiery lights flickered through out her translucent fur. "Twilightbell."
By now, she was used to her dreams being disturbed by the whispers of the Sun God. Of course this usually only happened if there was a message that he had for SunClan. This had to be one of those times. She had yet to discover what this message might be as her dream was still unclear. Shadowy images passed by her and she could hear whispers in the shadows. She could also feel a sense of urgency. Whatever this was, it had to be important. She was sure of this. Finally, she heard a voice. While the voice was unfamiliar, the scent gave her a feeling of nostalgia that she couldn't quite place. She knew this cat. She was sure of it, but how? She padded forward, following the voice and the scent until she was standing in front of her. "You...You're Berrystep aren't you?" Her voice was quiet, but that had to be it. The scent was as familiar as her own even though the voice was unfamiliar.
"I am." She replied, giving her daughter a small nod as a smile spread across her face. Though this was a serious time, she couldn't help but be selfish in the moment. Berrystep hadn't been given the chance to watch her daughter grow up, and this was the first time she had actually had the opportunity to see her daughter up close. She didn't want to waste it. "I'm so proud of you, you know. SunClan couldn't have a better cat for a Soothsayer Promised." This wasn't the message she'd been sent to deliver, but the Sun God couldn't blame her for taking a moment to speak with her daughter. After all, the soonest chance she'd have after this would be the Summer Solstice.
In the next instant, Twilightbell had closed the distance between and pressed her fur against her mothers, allowing herself to drink in her scent. For a moment she thought she could still smell the sweet milkscent she would have carried had she lived to raise her and her siblings. "So much has happened! I've wanted to talk to you so many times! I have so much I want to ask you..." Surely this was a blessing from the Sun God. She hadn't been permitted to see her mother before now. She hadn't been allowed to see at all save for the shadows that made up her normal vision.

She allowed herself a few moments to hold her daughter in her embrace, wishing that this time could stretch on for much longer than it would. Eventually, however, she pulled back, a genuine smile on her lips, though there was some sadness there too. "I'm sure you do. But that may have to wait until the solstice. Time is short, and I have a message to deliver." It wasn't much of a consolation, that she wouldn't be able to see her daughter again until the festival in which they were allowed to roam the living for a day, but even so, it was an assurance that this would not be the only time they met.
