Sightline had snuck onto NightClan territory in search of prey. DayClan seemed to scare everything away. The only thing she needed to do was avoid a NightClan cat. This had to be easy, both of them normally hunted at night anyways. She should have seen a cat by now.
There was a rustle in the leaves. Perfect. She quickly slunk down, and as fast a shooting star, she caught the vole. It was nice and plump, and with all the new kits, it would help keep their stomachs full.
"And you're a moonclan cat." A voice drawled, Frozenfire, the sleek light gray tabby she cat stalking out from the shadows. The she cat having been patrolling the border when she'd realized MoonClan scent had crossed over.
Frozenfire chuckled and showed her teeth. "You know we're doing you an awfully big favor helping your dillipidated clan keep it's borders secure. While you're so so tiny," Frozenfire chuckled. "So why are you spurning our great generosity by trying to catch what is ours?" Frozenfire asked blue eyes gleaming darkly as she glanced pointedly at the vole.
