Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She was always their perfect little princess. Did as she was told, never stepped out of line, proper posture. But Dahlia had a flaw that could not be allowed. To love someone of the same-sex wasn't permitted within her family. But what was she to do? Break the rules her parents had set up for her? Step out of line for the first time in her whole life?
This issue was taken out her hands by her parents, her choice made for her. She'd marry a tom of their choosing, one she'd known for her whole life but had never found attraction towards. Esther and Hod would hear none of her complaints though, so she didn't even bother. Dahlia looked towards the woods surrounding their home, wondering what would happen if she left and tried to find love. But she knew that would never be allowed. The dishonor she'd bring her family was too great to bare, but...maybe someday she'd truly find love or even learn to love this tom she was to wed. A girl could dream, couldn't she?
Estehr fussed over her only daughter, still displeased with her daughter's flaw, but she'd found a solution. A respectable tom, one they knew well would be her mate and that would solve everything. Surely Dahlia could see what a blessing it was to wed this tom cat! Helping her only child to groom her fur, the old she-cat could help the grin on her face at the idea of grandchildren from a proper union.
Hod eyed his daughter critically, occasionally pointing out any errant tufts of fur for Esther to smooth over. He was glad that his mate had found her someone proper to take as mate, and that they'd been out of his fur soon. As much as the all-business tom loved his daughter, he would enjoy having time with just and Esther again. The stocky tom turned and cast a quick glance around their surroundings, ears pricking as he listened for anyone approaching.
(bumping this. I'd like it if her Ex showed up now, kind of a meeting the family spot. We can work it as though they're suppose to get married in a few days)
