Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
So I wanna try a mass group thread that involves all of EC's territory. It seems like everyone likes how things are done in the gathering threads and the plot thread that's going on in MC. So I figured we can try to do one within EC. Different sections of the cap can be in bold to help show where that cat is in the territory. I hope that makes sense. If you have any questions please ask!
CENTER OF CAMP Seablossom had just seen off the midday patrol to check on the MoonClan border only moments beforehand. Now, she rested near the fresh kill pile enjoying some lunch in the form of a sparrow. The deputy was free until further notice, a little bored at the thought of having nothing to do. Ivorypaw carried two shrews towards the fresh kill pile that she'd caught while hunting. Dropping off the kills at the pile, the apprentice turned towards the deputy and dipped her head in greetings to her older sister.
NURSERY Deerkit chased her mother's tail around, tripping over her own two front paws. No tears spun to her eyes, her grin only grew wider as she laughed at her own misfortune and clumsiness. Berryfrost helped her kit back to her paws, "careful now."
Pondpaw, newly promoted despite his young age, strutted around camp with his chest puffed out. His mother watched him from the nursery with eyes rounded in concern, but he ignored her. "Good catch, Ivorypaw!" he offered encouragingly as he neared the older she-cat, giving her a nod. "I haven't caught anything like that yet!"
CENTER OF CAMP Ivorypaw turned towards the other apprentice, a grimace on her face. "Have you even tried to catch anything? Or are your paws still to green to be allowed to leave camp?" SHe stuck her nose up at the younger cat, pride not allowing her to look the practically kit in the face. Seablossom frowned at her sister's behavior but didn't say anything, curious as to how Pondpaw would react. SHe knew Ivorypaw could be mean, even resentful and Seablossomw wasn't sure how to correct that. It was damage done by their deceased father, she knew but it also wasn't good for that anger to remain within the apprentice and allowed to fester into something worse.
MEDICINE CAT DEN Borage for Queen's milk and fevers. Catmint for Greencough. Feverfew also for fevers. Marigold for infection and inflammation. Lavender for...well, what do ya know? Fevers again. Ugggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Why were there so many herbs just for fevers? Firepaw groaned as he sorted herbs alone in the Medicine Cat Den. He wasn't sure where Quietnight or Mountainsound were, and honestly? He didn't care. But chances were that whatever they were doing right now was probably far more interesting than this was. The ginger apprentice could hear the sounds of warriors hustling and bustling outside, and he tried his best to block it out.
CENTER OF CAMP Noticing his mate's worried look from the nursery, Creekghost padded over from across the camp to sit beside her, giving Breezestep a loving lick on the head to comfort her. He knew that she had reservations about their sons being made apprentices early; especially Firepaw, who had grown extremely moody since his promotion. "You doing okay?" He meowed gently before continuing. "They're both growing up so fast, aren't they? You shouldn't have to worry so much, they can take care of themselves now.
Near the camp's exit, a sleek black tom was grooming himself, using his front paws to clean behind his ears before peaking open a cobalt-blue eye to observe the area around him. Rookback stretched, and then stood up tall with a cheeky smirk on his face. "Yo, anyone want to go out hunting with me? Or for a walk, I don't particularly care. I just can't sit around here for much longer."
WARRIOR'S DEN In the far back on the den, the large form of a speckled grey tom lay fast asleep in one of the nests. Today Stalkerjaw had previously the unfortunate circumstance of being assigned to early dawn patrol, and planned on getting back his missed hours of sleep however he possibly could. The muscular brute looked almost serene in his nap, a quiet peacefulness few usually saw of him present on the tom's dreaming face.
CENTER OF CAMP Seablossom stood from her comfortable spot, stretching in the process. "Ivorypaw would love to join you." Shooting a hard look towards her younger sister, the deputy made it clear there'd be no arguing on the matter if the apprentice knew what was good for her. As much as Seablossom acted as her mother even raised the kit as one Ivorypaw knew the older cat wasn't her mother and tried to pull that card more than once to get out of doing things. By the glare being pointed back at her, the older cat was sure this would be one of those moments.
Ivorypaw huffed before getting up, if she was going then so helper so was this newbie apprentice! "So's Pondpaw." It was a statement, a challenge right back at her older sister, daring the other cat to tell her no when they both knew the apprentice could use the training even if Pondpaw had just recently been promoted. Ivorypaw was nearly a warrior as it was, there was no need for her to be supervised like Pondpaw would need to be.
NURSERY Berryfrost smiled down at her kits. They had moved on from chasing her tail to playing with a ball of moss. Kits were so easily distracted, and happy. Deerkit would stumble over her own two paws every now and again but it never once slowed the little one down.

WARRIORS DEN Honeycomb padded into the warriors den looking to take a quick nap. She blinked a few times in the darkness until her eyes adjusted to to dim light. There in the back of the den was her friend Stalkerjaw sound asleep. She came closer wanting to rouse him but refrained from doing so. Instead she settled down nearby and wrapped her tail around her body and shut her eyes.
NURSERY The ball of moss the younger kits were playing with rolled over and stopped in front of Firekit. Looking up from his grooming, he gave the moss ball a swat and it sailed back in an arc landing neatly on Deerkit's back.
NURSERY Scrambling around, Deerkit laughed while she tried to get the moss that had just hit her. "Come join, Firekit!" Oh, the game would be so much more fun with more cats involved. Maybe they could get the warriors in on it too! The little kit passed the bundle of moss back towards the other kit, the ball barely reaching the tom.
CENTER OF CAMP Berryfrost made her way from the nursery's entrance towards the other warriors and apprentice at the fresh kill pile in the center of camp. "Good afternoon." She recieved a similar greeting from Seablossom and a looked of abrehension from Ivorypaw. Maybe the poor apprentice thought she was there to ask her to babysit again. The queen thought about teasing her for a bit and making it seem like so, but chose not. Besides, she didn't need Seablossom thinking she needed someone to look after the kits again so soon.
(Feel free to invite others to the thread! The more the merrier.)
Pondpaw looked positively smug at the proud she-cat's question. "Yeah. I tried to catch prey when I was a kit," he boasted. "You ever go hunting as a kit?" Solsticestar had stopped him from really trying, but he had seen and thought about catching a bird and a squirrel and a mouse, so he was pretty sure that counted. He flexed his paws as he turned and frowned at the deputy, shaking his head a few times.
"I only go out with Solsticestar."
-
Breezestep sighed, leaning against her mate for support. "They're growing up too fast. Neither of them are old enough for this yet," she murmured, "but Solsticestar refused to listen to me." She had tried to convince the older cat, but she had been unshakable, and stubborn. In the end there was nothing she could do but accept it and grieve privately for the kits that were gone from her so soon.
Rookback shot an incredulous look at both Seablossom and Ivorypaw, clearing sensing the sisterly hostility between the pair. It was...almost nostalgic to see. The silver-striped tom quickly shook those unwanted emotions away with a flick of his tail and shrugged at the Deputy nonchalantly. "I'm cool with it if Ivorypaw wants to tag along," He commented casually, "But it's her decision to make. Ain't gonna force her to come with if she doesn't want to. She's nearly a warrior; let her choose for herself once and a while." He turned to face the young she-cat, acknowledging the apprentice with a friendly smile.
Creekghost hummed in understanding as he continued to groom his mate, his rough tongue brushing over Breezestep's white pelt to soothe her nerves. In all honesty, their sons' early promotions had shocked and worried him just as much as her, but as his mate had said, Solsticestar was unmovable in her decision. All he could do was stay optimistic about this and hope their leader knew what she was doing. Hearing Pondpaw's boasting, the tom lifted his head and called out to him; "You better not leave this camp without Solsticestar, young tom!"
WARRIORS DEN
The soft sound of pawsteps lifted Stalkerjaw out of his sleep, and he groggily blinked open a dark yellow eye to recognize the form of his friend Honeycomb settling down in a nest a short distance away. "You get early duty too?" His gruff voice called out softly, closing his eyes again with a smirk. Feeling slightly uncomfortable in his sleeping position now, he shifted in his nest so that the tom would face the she-cat better.

MEDICINE CAT DEN Joy Cutthroat came limping into camp with a mouse in his jaws. After depositing it on the fresh kill pile he headed straight to the medicine den. He had been hunting and wound up in a briar patch chasing that same mouse. He had several minor cuts and scratches but they would have never gotten him to go see a medicine cat. However, the thorn stuck in his right front paw did. Try as he might he couldn't get it out. "Hello? Anyone in here?" he asked as he stuck his head through the entrance.
NURSERY paogirl "Come on, you can do better than that," Firekit meowed to Deerkit. He got up and went over to the ball of moss and swatted it back to the she kit. Unfortunately it burst apart into several pieces before it reached her. "Sorry," he mewed. "Wanna do something outside instead?"
WARRIORS DEN Joy "Sorry if I disturbed you," Honeycomb meowed softly. "I tried to be quiet." She shifted around so she could see him better. "And yes, I was on a border patrol. No problems were sighted." She stifled a yawn. "Which is a good thing."

NURSERY Deerkit smiled, "sure!" Mom wouldn't mind them leaving the nursery, as long as they didn't go too far. Besides, she wasn't even in the den anymore so she couldn't really stop them. "What'd ya wanna do?"
CENTER OF CAMParcherz Ivorypaw glare back at sister after having glanced at Rookback as if to say see I can make my own decisions, I'm not some little kit anymore. "I'd personally rather not go." Sticking her nose up in the air, she turned away from the cats. Her plans had been to be lazy all day, not to go hunting. It was her one day off! But maybe it'd be fun to show up Pondpaw, since the arrogant little brat thought he was better than her. "But I suppose it wouldn't hurt to show this newbie how to hunt." If the brat was even allowed to go that is. Seablossom just rolled her eyes and thought screw it, it's not like she's gonna listen anyways. Ivorypaw had always been independent and pushed back the second someone tried to tell her what to do. Seablossom may have acted as her mother and Ivorypaw tended to only listen to her, but that didn't want the deputy her actually mom which the apprentice pushed back at all the time. It was frustrating, but more than likely from their father's barely there interactions and how he couldn't have seemed to care what they did. It was the apprentice's way of mourning, of defiance now that the to was gone.

NURSERY paogirl18 "Um, how about hide n' seek?" Firekit asked. "It's a great way to learn how to use your nose to track things. That's how warriors find their prey." He had listened to many elder's tales about how so and so found the biggest rabbit or how a fox was detected and avoided. "You can be it and try to find me."
NURSERY "Sounds like fun! I'll count to...to fifteen!" She couldn't quite make it to twenty yet but she knew up to fifteen, that number would work, right? Deerkit smiled as she laid down, her front paws covering her eyes as she started to count. Oh, she'd never played this game with the twist of only using her nose, she's only supposed to use her nose right? Eh, she was doing it that way cus it sounded like more fun. "Eight...nine...ten.."

NURSERY Firekit sped off in the direction of the elder's den. He hoped their scent would help to hide his own. He quietly slipped around behind the den and crouched under a small bush. She'll never find me here!
CENTER OF CAMP Deerkit finished her counting and glanced around for any hint as to where the other kit had run off too. The scent traced through the center of camp, past the group of warriors and apprentices. Maybe they would know where Firekit was! Recongizing Pondpaw from when he was still in the nursery with them, she called out to him. "Pondpaw! Have you seen Firekit?'

BEHIND THE ELDERS DEN Firekit strained his ears for sounds of pursuit but didn't hear any. I found a really good hiding place, he thought. The bush he had taken refuge under was near the camp wall. He wriggled closer to the barrier to help hide himself better. The sounds of camp life came faintly to his ears. This would be a really good place to come if he wanted to get away from it all and to just be alone.
