Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The day was windy but pleasantly sunny on the island, and Solaris was waiting by the exit to the League's temporary camp. The Proxy had announced an open training session for trainees, older younglings, mentors, and even hunters who wished to brush up on their fighting skills. It was nearing the time he had set, and so the massive orange tabby sat in the designated meeting spot, fur braced against the wind.

The small resistant voice of arrogance still tugged at a trace of her conscience, something continuing to nag that this was demeaning, an embarrassment to her own skill and - worse and even more offensive - an affront to her intelligence. But if Lovetta had many flaw - and she very surely did - at least one of them was not a lack of self-awareness. As much as she was narcissistic she was aware she was a narcissist, and as much as her ego was a detriment to her was was fully aware of it's detriments; both in its tactics in sabotage and the aftermath of its effects. The realization of this had come through natural life lessons, and though they had done nothing to lessen the natural fortitude of her own self-absorption, she'd learned how to hack her own mindset. True true, these little exercises were beneath her, but what better did she have to do that day? Hell, even if the lesson was near completely useless - and given her own perception of her wealth of knowledge she was sure it would be - if she even learned one new thing, she figured it would be worth it.
It was for that reason the grey shape of the feline, as silent and inconspicuous as one's own shadow, joined where she figured a group might eventually form. She gave a small, polite enough dip of her head in tacit greeting to the Warden, then took a seat quietly.

Aconite was not expecting to be assigned to another cats trainee when she woke that morning. Nevertheless Daedric had rolled around in his nest complaining of stiffness in his crippled leg. With big firefly amber eyes he had practically begged the black white tabby to attend in his stead. Reluctantly she had agreed. She had set aside the day for hunting and walking the new borders anyways. At least now she would be interacting with the league and its up and coming generation of brainwashed crowfood. "Greetings Solaris," The Indy E'tani Spawn meowed leveling her multi toned blue eyes on the Proxy. "Daedric sends his apology from the Shamans den. He is feeling... weak today." she meowed with a respectful dip of her head.

Gretel moved forward at a brisk pace, running later than she would have preferred. Hansel had spent the morning pestering her, which was not out of norm, but what was out of norm was that when she told him she had to go he took awhile to get the message. So used to her twin listening to her word, so used to Hansel knowing when Gretel really meant her words for him to 'cut it out'. This morning had been different and had taken her by surprise, had worried her, caused her to spend more time trying to suss out the cause of Hansel's distress than focus on getting to the meeting spot. Still it seemed she had arrived no later than anyone else, still considerably early. Zalaph-kun, her trainee, hadn't even arrived yet and she was the whole reason Gretel felt she needed to go to it.
"That will work, Aconite. Thank you for telling me." Solaris blinked at her, his half-ear twitching back as he looked at the other arrivals. "Good morning. Gretel, and Lovetta. We'll wait for another five minutes, and then go."
Kasdeya-kun had shuffled up behind the already gathered cats, her smaller mottled frame diminished by their presence. She glanced around, having heard the last part of Aconite's apology. "So you're training me today?" She asked her, nose twitching in disdain as she spoke.

Aconite shifted her gaze to Kasdeya-Kun, she understood the smaller cats resentment at the situation. Nonetheless she wouldn’t tolerate disrespect. “Yes and you will accept it willingly.” Her mother, Quartet, had been a sweet and caring figure her father even more so. However Aconite struggled with the softer aspects of her feminine nature. “If you think Dawdric was going easy on you you better hope you got some extra sleep last night.” Aconite would accept nothing but the best from her temporary trainee.
Kasdeya-kun made a face but didn't voice any further displeasure, shuffling her feet. She had a general disdain for authority figures of any degree, but hadn't yet learned how to get away with disobeying them. She had at least stopped hating Daedric at this point, and he had to go and leave her with someone new.
