Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. Out with the old and in with the new, right? Springlockedgrave supposed she should've been happy that she no longer shared a space with Shiva, and instead had Pearlypaw, who appeared to be a significantly nicer cat, even on her face. Not that this was hard. Of course, even appearances didn't help the fear that gripped the Vrachii's heart as she waited in the cavern, sorting herbs anxiously. What was she thinking, attempting to teach another cat about herbs? She could barely function on a good day, let alone manage to have enough presence of mind to tell a cat the difference between poppy and foxglove seeds.
At the sound of someone entering the den, the scarred golden feline jumped. And she didn't just flinch back, the she-cat quite literally jumped straight up, smashing her back into the ceiling of the small den and landing rather ungracefully directly on top of the pile of herbs she'd been sorting, the dried plants crumbling to dust on impact, a thin trickle of blood running down her forehead from where she hit it.
Inwardly, she had to admit that she was grateful to have given birth two days prior, so that she didn't risk harming the kits she'd been carrying.
