Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Tasman let out a warm breath. It hung in the air in an icy cloud as she walked. Despite the facade that the pace she kept at suggested that she had somewhere to go, she was basically wandering. She needed time to think. Things were changing quickly, and she knew that it was a perfect time to capitalize on such change. After all, the leader of the clique was gone. Everette, he would be easily disposable if she decided that was what she needed to do. Were the stars lined up that she would be the next Tsar? Tasman wanted to believe they were, but at the same time, she could not be confident. After all, things were more complicated than just the surface level. If things were as simple as they seemed, any antsy member of the clique would have taken advantage of the fact that their Tsar was missing. However, this seemed to be lacking. This meant that there was a danger in the air...
She let out another sigh, before looking up. She'd wandered out of the stretch of campus that had always been directly taken as Brook's. She honestly didn't know where she was now, something that made her stomach churn slightly. The off-campus housing was not particularly a space where it was wise to transcend borders between the clique neighborhood, yet here she was. Her absent wanderings had left her stranded in the middle of who knew where.
"Gods, be damned," she muttered under her breath, before running her hands towards the choker she wore. She, like many others of the clique, wore the Brook emblem somewhere on her body. For her, that meant the choker. She quickly removed it, before shoving it in her pocket. Brook had enemies, and if she'd stumbled in the enemy neighborhoods, that piece of jewlery would mark her as an outsider, even more than her general disposition would. That would be bad.
She let her eyes flick around, her pace quickening to try to find a landmark she recognized. An unsettled feeling formed in her stomach. This, Tasman, was why you shouldn't leave campus without Lev, or even Aylik, she reminded herself crossly, before she heard footsteps approach her...
When the air changed it was a signal for most to stay off their side of the street, but the cold didn't bother everyone. Winter had a reputation for lone travelers disappearing when walking along the path near their turf. They were definitely a take prisoners with no release date kind of crew and Barren was no different. He took pleasure in catching any and everyone he could. He wasn't against dragging or luring others if it was a slow day, but in this case, she was in his sights. He already had a nickname set up for her and everything. It was a smooth and simple job. He was bigger than most people in the school and most of the time tackling them and dragging them back never proved to be too difficult especially the loners not affiliated with any group.
"Hey, what are you doing out so late?" Barren asked, the center of his eyes were ice blue, but the edges were licked to gold, almost magical looking, but his tone was a false sense of pleasantry, "I think you should stop walking and turn back around here and maybe I'll let you go with a warning. But if you keep going I'll have to take you in away from the cold," He shrugged as if the situation couldn't be help and was simply out of his hands despite no one else being around, but them.
