Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She'd just arrived yesterday. The SunClan scent clung to Mountainsound's pelt as she wandered EarthClan's territory, equally as curious as she was cautious. Though the clan knew she was here to teach Firepaw and Quietnight, and Mountainsound certainly had a reputation for being a trustworthy cat and a good medicine cat, there were those she expected to be displeased with her presence. After all, having a rival clan's member on your territory, even if the she-cat had known Solsticestar since birth, and had been medicine cat for much of the EarthClan leader's life in SunClan, wasn't exactly the most pleasant thing.
Nonetheless, she was here, and there was nothing anyone could do about it. For the moment, she had chosen to explore the territory, getting a feel for the land and the locations of the herbs within. It was slow going, given her blindness, but she was managing just fine on her own. The Senator considered hunting for a moment, though she ultimately decided against such a thing. Best not to test the waters so soon.
Seablossom spotted the old medicine cat while out hunting. Quickly burying the prey she had just caught, the deputy made her way towards Mountainsound. She'd heard much about the cat in whispers here and there, even that she knew Ambersky, Seablossom's grandmother. Who better to have rumors confirmed than from the source itself. "Mountainsound! Good afternoon." She dipped her head once she was closer as a form of greeting, a soft smile on her face as she came to stand next to the other she-cat.
Indeed, Mountainsound knew Ambersky. She remembered when the she-cat had been promoted to medicine cat apprentice under the then medicine cat, Ebonygold, and when she'd been promoted to medicine cat in the wake of her mate's forced departure from EarthClan. The old feline had healed her own clan for moons, long enough to see many medicine cats rise and fall, both during as a medicine cat, and in the time after. The blind feline herself had heard rumors of Seablossom's relation to said former medicine cat, but she'd never paid them so much mind as to actually ask whether they were true.
"Hello, Seablossom." She recognized the deputy's voice in an instant, her head turning as she offered a smile towards the feline. "How are you today?"
