Lark had risen early the morning of her first mass training, taking a walk in the tunnels outside of Post Kilo to soothe her nerves. The young calico she-cat had only recently received the unexpected promotion to Raiser Superior, and had never held a large scale training before. But the hour of training had come, and Lark sat in the center of Post Kilo, her long furred tail draped over her front paws as she waited for the cadets to gather.

Cadet Fang tottered up to the Raiser Superior, a friendly smile on his squished maw. "Good morning, Raiser Superior Lark." He purred his greeting. His bright yellow eyes were glowing with anticipation as he waited for the others to arrive.

Ever curious Septimus-tyke peeked out from underneath a rock that was propped against another. His multi-colored eyeballs lazily looked to Lark and Fang. It seemed he had just woken up from a nap. He stretched his paws forward, extending his tiny claws, and yawned widely. What was going on? Were they about to start playing a new game? He waited to see. It might not be a fun game... He would stick to his shadows unless it looked like something he was interested in. His ears pricked.
"Good morning Fang." Lark returned the greeting warmly, offering the younger tom a smile. "I hope you're excited about today. We're expecting two more cadets, I believe. And you're welcome to join, Septimus-tyke." The Raiser Superior turned her gaze to the hidden tom, her uncanny ability to locate the tykes aiding her in the discovery. "We'll be learning how to take care of Origins and Tykes today."

SEPTIMUS-TYKE The fur along his spine spiked. How does she just know? ...creepy. The black tom crawled out half-way, inching himself to the window of the propped rocks. He lay flatly, sprawling out his forelegs and resting his chin on the cold cavern floor. It seemed he was still waking up and was being lazy about it.

Cadet Fang nodded then offered a warm smile to Septimus-tyke. "I'm glad you came to join us." He purred then looked over his shoulder as Cadet Zaina strolled up. "Hello, Superior Lark." She meowed politely. "Cadet Zahira will hopefully be coming soon."
"Lovely!" Lark smiled brightly, her whiskers twitching. "It's great to see you, Zaina. I hope you slept well. Is this your first mass training?" The small calico blinked her pale amber eyes as she spoke, peering back briefly to see if the last cadet was close.

"Yes, it is!" She responded with a bright smile. Her whiskers quivered with excitement as she made her way to sit by the other cadets. "What all are we going to learn today?"
Sensing that the last of the cadets had arrived, Lark signaled for the two cadets (and the tyke, if he wanted) to follow her before she addressed Zaina's question. "Today we'll be observing, and I'll be giving clarification on what Raisers do. The tykes are in the other room."
