Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
So I was thinking we could have a special weekend night where we start a Skype or Discord call and we could all talk to each other, you're also welcome to show video cam of yourself, but only if you're comfortable with that of course. This would just be a fun thing to do for those who are interested. You can also just be apart of the chat if you'd like!
I was thinking activities could include, but not excluded to
- Talking (of course)
- Show and Tell: Every member of the call gets to show off an object from home that they want to show off to everyone
- Live Hunger Games rp: You don't have to be apart of the call, but you'll see the live results as I'm posting them and it's overall just fun to see the action. This game will be quicker pace and not really apart of the official lineage of the game with an arching story
- Two Truths and a Lie game: This will just be a little game we can play in the chat while we're talking so more of a background game if we're getting bored. The game is you tell two truths and a lie about yourself and the other person has to guess which one is a lie
1) Super interested tbh 2) Skype 3) I really like Alley's idea about Cards Against Humanity and I'm excited fo rthe hunger games. I definitely want to participate in that.
1) yee boi 2) i'm inclined to say discord because nobody uses it and this could be a way to attract attention to it, but on the other hand everyone here is suggesting skype which makes it seem to me like no one even has a discord, so....skype? xD 3) none i'm uncreative okay

1) Are you interested in the idea - yes ! i think that it could be a lot of fun, especially if we do it like annually ? maybe like once a month or something ? 2) Discord or Skype? i personally don't have a discord, so like i have an obvious bias for skype. but i can also see how discord migth be better because a draw attention and b it woudl allow those who usually use skype to still use it during that time if they are uncomfortable in a call. but still skype might be easier 3) looks good !
That's enough people then! So I'm thinking February 23rd, a Saturday at EST 8:00pm
We'll have to make our own Skype Chat because our Classic Skype is so big that Skype won't allow a call to be made. I'll give you all till Friday for anyone to disagree with that date. On Friday I'll post an announcement about this asking everyone to give me their Skype usernames so I can add them to the chat for that date. If anyone does miss the date though, I feel this will become a monthly or bi-monthly thing so we'll likely be doing this again.

I can't do this weekend, I work nights every other week, so I wouldn't be able to make it. (Same goes for March 1st/2nd) That's not really a big deal, at least this time around, so long as we plan the next one for a weekend I have off though. It's going to be hard to completely work around everyone's schedules anyway.
