Blackwidow peered out at the snow falling from the sky. She hated it when it snowed and she did not want to go out in this weather but she was going crazy inside of camp. Should she just take the cold wet paws for a bit of freedom and a run? She weighed her options carefully, unsure what exactly she should do.
Effluentpaw hopped out of the apprentice den in one large leap, deciding to get the plunge over with. She hadn't gone out yet for the day and knew trying to hunt in the snow would be a challenge. But it was a challenge she wanted to try facing so she took a deep breath, prepared herself, and started trudging forwards. Acting like it was blizzard and the snow was up to her chest despite all evidence such as reality saying that was not the case.

Hearing an apprentice plunging around in the snow behind her, Blackwindow glanced over her shoulder. "If you aren't careful you'll catch a chill." She meowed, a bit unsure whether to say anything. She knew Eternalstar did not trust her even as one of her warriors and this apprentice was someone she did trust, at least as much as that leader could. She wasn't trusting by any means
"Maybe the chill will kill me and I will be able to end my suffering." Effluentpaw muttered, thinking back to her perdiciment. Still an apprentice and carrying kits, she was yet undecided if she should tell her mother or hide it. Tempted to give the kits away or simply run away all together. Eternalstar would relish Effluentpaw telling her of her mistake, only enjoying being a mother to her and her littermates when it meant Eternalstar could act like a saint or lord over them.

She looked over the apprentice with curiosity. "Freezing to death is a terrible way to die." She replied rather seriously. Unfortunately, humor was not particularly high on her level of skills.
[ effluentpaw's life has been pretty horrible and filled with mistakes made because she had no guidance. poor baby. whole litter is doomed as well with the sunclan plot. she'll probably end up going to live in a cave as a hermit rest of her life. ]
"Every way of dying is terrible if you want to live." Effluentpaw countered, raising her brow as she pinned the warrior under here mismatched gaze. Long moons of suffering swimming behind her eyes, the apprentice obviously on the edge of a breakdown that was simmering. Soon to erupt like a volcano and most likely cause damage to anyone around her when it occurred.
"If there really is an afterlife like Starclan, who is to say you won't get there to be miserable you passed in your sleep. No chance to say goodbye, dying so suddenly." She continued to argue, though unsure why she was bothering at this point.

The black springclan warrior craned her neck to see her brother approach them and she looked back at the apprentice who was pinning her down. "This one plunged right into that freezing water and now my chest is covered with it." She stated simply. "Besides, I believe there are honorable ways to die even if you aren't ready." She announced suddenly with a tone of determination in her voice.
