Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The moon was near full today. That was a relief to Snowpaw, for it brought soft light rushing into the medicine cat's den, but it also made it so he couldn't help but notice the dark shadows stretching from the depths of the den. He shivered and fluffed up his soft white fur, curling his tail tighter around himself. He knew it was foolish to be scared of the dark, especially now, but he always had been and now he doubted it would change. At least on days like today he knew the Moon God was watching over him, though it seemed like nobody else was...
He sighed heavily as he rested his chin on his paws, his good eye facing the entrance to the den. He wanted to get up and leave this dreary place, but he was afraid to go alone, after what had happened the last time.

Swiftstorm had come to the medicine den to speak to Elmwhisker when he was greeted by someone else, by that he meant Snowpaw.
"Oh, hello Snowpaw! Feeling ok?" He asked. Since he was in the den, he must be sick right. Besides, the apprentice looked down and he couldn't help but wish for him to feel more at home, even with the Pride hounding them.
Elmwhisker padded to the front of his den, his pale blue gaze landing sympathetically on Snowpaw, the recent events were hard on everyone, but especially the younger cats, he turned his gaze to Swiftstorm and greeted him with a friendly nod. "Hello, Swiftstorm."
“Hi Swiftstorm,” he mumbled softly, blue eyes wide as the moon st the unexpected visit. He’d came in to get his missing eye checked and make sure the wound hadn’t grown infected, but he had been too nervous to call out for Elmwhisked, so he hung around at the mouth of the den instead. He looked up quickly as he saw the medicine cat and offered him a hesitant smile.

"Ah, I need to talk to you, but that can wait. You seem to have a patient waiting for you." He said a bit awkwardly as he made room the young cat. "Good thing you'll be a warrior soon enough, we need more soon." He added solemnly.
Elmwhisker studied Snowpaw's missing eye for a few moments before absentmindedly pulling out some Celandine from his storage and crushing it into a juice. "This might sting a little." Elmwhisker warned Snowpaw as he trickled it into the missing eye.
He shifted, trying not to get his hopes up, though he visibly brightened at Swiftstorm's words. Would he really be a warrior soon? He had been close before he lost his eye and he was worried he would never become a warrior now.
"You really think so-" he started to ask the warrior, only to shift and yelp in pain at the juice in his eye. It hurt a lot, and he tried to stay still, but he flinched anyway. "Sorry," he whined to the medicine cat.

"Of course! You're not going to let a lost eye stop you?" He asked. "You're a smart and capable cat and we've seen that. Lureluster taught you well..." He trailed off remembering that she was his mentor. "She'd be so proud of you."
He smiled and purred quietly at the praise, pushing away his doubts for the time being. "Th-thanks, Swiftstorm. I... I'll try my best, really." He had always been a coward, but he had tried his best to be brave and help his clan, even when it terrified him.

He turned to Elmwhisker with a bit of urgency, deciding that the information could be heard by Snowpaw. "I have a question for you, about the Moon God. Has he contacted you anytime recently?"
"Your eye is healing very well, it won't be long before you return to your duties." Elmwhisker said to Snowpaw, cheerfully, before turning to face Swiftstorm, his expression changed. "Yes and no." he answered. "I've seen visions but he hasn't spoken to me. It's becoming increasingly frustrating." he answered. Elmwhisker had spent a lot of time recently attempting to decipher what the visions meant for MoonClan, but he hadn't come to any solid conclusions yet.

Swiftstorm sighed. "We need answers and a way out of this situation. This isn't the best way to go about it, but I think we need to go to the Moon Creek." He said before, thinking intensely again. "Maybe we can get someone to give us guidance, whether it be the Moon God or our ancestors."
Elmwhisker nodded thoughtfully. "I agree. Maybe the Moon God will give me a more solid understanding of my visions." he added. Although, the ancestors never gave anything up easily and Elmwhisker knew he'd probably leave with more questions than answers, but it was worth a try.
Snowpaw smiled, grateful that he was getting better, or at least not worse. Things were hard enough as they were, he didn't need an infection to deal with. Before he could thank the tom and leave, they started talking about ancestors, and he froze. It felt... wrong. He turned quickly to Swiftstorm and blurted out, "but you can't! What if going to StarClan angers the Moon God?!"

"Not StarClan per se, that's more of NightClan's and DayClan's beliefs. We can use the Moon Creek more of a passageway to those long departed or who we believe in, for example, our Moon God, Avatea, and SunClan's Sun God, Etu." He explained. "Now we've got to make a move soon, the full moon is coming. I'm hoping to go before the Gathering."
He turned to Snowpaw. "Do you think you could come with us? With all the cats roaming our territory, extra protection wouldn't hurt. You could consider this you're warrior assessment." He smiled gently at him.
"Oh," Snowpaw sighed, his shoulders drooping in relief. He had a lot to learn about his clan, it seemed, but he was glad that they weren't trying to circumvent the Moon God. He loved their deity fiercely and didn't want to make him mad.
"Y-You want me to come? If it's dangerous, maybe you should bring someone else.. you know, someone with two eyes to keep a lookout," he added in a shameful mumble, looking at his paws. It was an exciting offer, but he wasn't sure it was practical.

Swiftstorm laid his tail on his shoulder. "I know this may be a daunting task, but I wouldn't have asked you to come if I didn't think you were ready. Besides, I trust you and that's something that is scarce these days." He stood up and looked down at him. "Are you ready?"
