Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Freekit sat near the nursery her tail neatly wrapped around her tiny paws. Her diluted calico fur swaying in the gentle mid-day breeze. Her eyes scanning the camp looking for someone to play with.
A small sand pelted tabby she-kit came out of the nursery. Her blue eyes squinted at the sunlight. She walked a few pawsteps and took a look around after her eyes had adjusted. She scanned the area and noticed Freekit. Arakit was a little shy at first but she hadn't made much interaction between herself and the other kits, so today might've been the day. She cautiously walked up to the other kit in a submissive manner. "Hi" She mewed quietly.
The calico kits pointed ears flicked at the sound of the quiet voice, her head tuning to see who had approached her. The blue eyed she-kit smiled warmly at the other, she'd seen the sandy cat around before but had yet to really have a conversation with her. "Hello~" Freekit softly meowed back before askign in the sme soft tone, "What's your name?"
Arakit smiled and started to feel more at ease. She sat down in front of the small calico kit. "My names Arakit" She replied to her. "What is your name?" She asked.
Freekit's brows rose ever so slightly, that was an interesting name, but she quickly decided that she liked it. Not that she would say it out aloud if she thought it was strange in a bad way. "That's pretty" she voiced before replying with her own name, "I'm Freekit. Nice to meet you Arakit~"
A slight relief came over Arakit. Happy she is in the works of making a friend in the clan as she is new to the clan and isn't all to familiar with everything. "Nice to meet you to Freekit" She mewed back. "Are you new here as well?" She asked curiously.
The calico kitten nodded her head at Arakit's question. She hadn't been born in MoonClan, a patrol had found her and brought her back to the camp a few moons ago. Freekit shuddered at the thought that she probably be dead by now if no one had found her on that chilly Greenleaf night. She'd interacted with a few of her clanmates, but was still trying to learn the ins and outs of Clan life. Though she wasn't to orried about it yet. She'd have time to learn. Her tail tip flicked softly as a fe wmoments of silence went by as she thought of somethign to say, "Uhmm, did you want to explore camp, or something?" she asked her voice trailing off at the end as if unsure of what to really say.
Arakit got up enthusiastically and got to her paws. She smiled and nodded her head. "Yeah!" She exclaimed. She quickly gazed around wondered where they could start their adventure. "Let's go this way." She pointed using her nose to point in the direction of the forest.
Freekit jumped, startled by Arakit's sudden enthusiasm. Her periwinkle eyes tracking the sandy kitten's movements, her brow's rising once again but this time in surprise at the direction the kit wanted to go. Her whiskers twitched in hesitation as she slowly rose to her own paws. As her gaze drifted from Arakit to the direction she pointed, faintly recalling when she'd followed another kit out of camp before and had gotten in trouble for it. Looking back towards Arakit and noting the excitement in her eyes Freekit couldn't find it in herself to tell her no. So the calico she-kit nodded her head, "Okay, but not too far away I don't want to get in trouble... again." she quietly mewed with a small smile and patiently waited for Arakit to lead the way.
Arakit nodded her. "Don't worry Freekit! We won't go too far!" She promised her. Though she also felt like she may not keep the promise because she has never really explored outside the clan since she had joined it. She always knew outside of the clan life was dangerous, all her siblings had died of sickness. She then turned back to her new friend and then gazed ahead. She began walking forward into the direction of the thick forest. Carefully not to trip over any branches or snapping them. "I heard there is a small river up ahead. I would love to see that" She mewed.
Freekit's head quickly whipped around the camp to see if any cat was watching them, everyone either seemed too preoccupied at the moment or where sleeping in their dens to see the two slip away from the camp. Turning her focus back to Arakit her head gave a quick jerky nod. "Okay," she whispered in a hushed tone not wanting to draw any attention to them as she quietly followed after her.
The kit had to admit she was also curious about what was outside the camp. Seeing as she hadn't made it very far her last venture out, and she was too worried trying to track down the other kit to enjoy the outside. Now Freekit's eyes were wide as she took in the forest around them, though she made sure stay close to Arakit, not wanting to lose her.
Arakit would glance back to make sure Freekit was still behind her. Noticed how timid she was she couldn't help but to pull a little joke on her. Before Freekit would realize Ara ran ahead and quickly hid behind a little stump. Just big enough to cover her. She kept herself close to the ground with her ears flattened against her head. She tried very hard not to giggle and waited.
Freekit had slowed her pace ever so slightly when a peculiar insect caught her eyes. A fascinated glow shining as she watched it scuttle over a fallen golden leaf. Her attention was quickly averted when she heard the rustling of leave and quick paw steps. Her head jerking up to where her companion /had/ been only to see that she was alone. The golden feline mysteriously vanished. The calico kit's heart dropped in her chest her spine prickling with fear as her tiny paw picked up the pace as she padded forward in hopes that someone she would see Arakit. The MoonClan kit had no idea that she was just about to walk past the hidden kit her small voice shaky as she called out her name, "Arakit? Arakit where did you go?"
With her ears flattened she had almost missed Freekit walking past her hiding spot. If she hadn't said her name she wouldn't have got to scare her. She got more into a crouched ready to pounce position. Her back was wiggling and she was ready. She then pounced at Freekit! "Boo" She yelled and then proceeding to knocking the both of them over. She rolled over and began to laugh.

Freekit's heart nearly lept out of her chest at the sudden shout of Arakit's voice. The breath that she hadn't known she'd been holding rushed out as the sandy kit tackled her to the ground. The calico cat let out a startled squeal alongside the breath her eyes widening before quickly squeezing shut as they both tumbled to the ground. Freekit's tiny limbs flailing in every direction smacking against the ground as well as Arakit before the golden cat rolled away from her laughing. Her once slow beating heart now pounding heavily in her chest as shereopened her eyes and stared at Arakit's laughinf form. "You scared the daylights out of me!" she exclaimed her words breathless her chest heaving from where she now lay covered in dirt and leaves.
Arakit couldn't help but to laugh more, she continued to laugh until she was almost out of breath. She rolled over onto her tummy and picked herself up. Taking in a few breaths to catch herself. She shook off the dust that was on her and went over to Freekit. "I'm sorry! but it was almost too easy!" She told her trying to hold in her laugh. "Do you need help?" She asked the kit that was still on the ground.
"No, I'm fine" the calico kitten responded slowly rising to her paws. She shook out her pelt sending a majority of the debris that clung to her pelt into the air around her. She licked her chest the flatten the fur there since it was currently sticking out in a wild jumble of directions. After she'd straightened herself out she looked at Arakit a small chiding look on her face, before a little giggle left her. She had to admit it Arakit's actions had been pretty funny. "You got me a good, Arakit" she acknowledged through her giggles, unaware that a few blades of grass were perched atop her head.
