Frostmouse let out a massive yawn as she woke up from a decent night's sleep. She peered around the Nursery, quite shocked that she was even there. Usually, she was the clan trouble-maker and loved to cause mischief but now she was lazing in the Nursery with a bundle of five kittens at her belly. What could she say? She fell for Cloudyday's handsome mug and he fell for her honeyed words. The two had no ill feelings towards each other, but it was clear they weren't meant to be mates. He was a good father, though, so she couldn't really complain. He brought her and the kittens food every morning and played with them when she needed a breather.
Patchkit squirmed at his mother's belly, beginning to wake from his dreams. He had eaten so many yummy pieces of prey in his sleep, yet his belly growled so loudly.
Speckledkit felt her brother shift, and it caused her eyes to open slightly. The sunlight was bright, despite the fact that it was still bitterly cold outside. She let out a groan, before pulling away from him. This was hard, be it that her back leg was already kind of messed up. "Go backa bed," she groaned over to him, before nuzzling deeper into her mother's stomach. It was clear that she was not in fact a morning cat.

"I wanna eaaat..." Patchkit complained, pushing her sister out of the way so she could eat. Frostmouse let out a groan of annoyance, resting her tail on top of the two kittens. "Both of you need to go back to sleep." She sleepily muttered.
