Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. Juniperslate blinked her eyes. She was a hard working feline, yes, but she hadn't expected to be assigned an apprentice. She didn't mind it particularly, but it felt strange to her. Why give the position of mentor to a half-blind cat? She had spent much of the last few days thinking about that, waiting for the day that she would meet the cat that she was tasked to train.
She let out a sigh, before shaking out her furs. Bumblepaw would be here soon...
"I had slept well that night and was up at dawn, and was know walking out of the apprentice's den to meet his mentor. The tiger-striped tom blinked his blue eyes against the sun that shown into his eyes. He dipped his head to Juniperslate, a smile on his face.* "Good Morning!" He meowed with a purr.
"Bumplepaw," she greeted with a curt nod, her voice a little less friendly than his. She wasn't unfriendly, per say, but she was work-focused. She trained her working eye on the tom, before blinking. "We will eat on the way," she then meowed. "You'll earn your prey during the time that we train together, and you may not eat outside of when you are granted permission. Do you understand?"
*I nodded my head.* "I understand." *I replied respectfully, though prey sounded good, I knew better then to take without permission and without feeding the Clan first.*
