Swiftstar looked over his small clan.
"Those old enough to hunt beneath the moonlight, gather here before me."

"First off, I have chosen Phoenixblaze to be my deputy."
"Emptywords, Sightline, and Reedtwist have been chose to be Lunar Guards as well."

He waved his tail to the grown apprentices to come forward.

"Corruptpaw, Timberpaw, Spookpaw, Nightshadepaw, Pinepaw and Flamingpaw. I am proud of you all through these trying times and you are all ready to receive warrior names."

"Corruptpaw, you will now be known as Corruptsong. We thank you for your courage and poise."

"Spookpaw, you will now be known as Spookbat. We thank you for your friendship and excellent hunting skills.

"Nightshadepaw, you will now be known as Nightshadeberry. We thank you for your loyalty and cunning."

"Flamingpaw, you will now be known as Flamingsoul. We thank you for your independence and free spirit."

"Timberpaw, you will now be known as Timberfrost. We thank you for your perseverance and thoughtfulness."

"Pinepaw, you will now be known as Pinesong. We thank you for your ferocity and fearlessness in battle."


Swiftstar nodded the new warriors and now looked at the couple of kits that were about to be apprenticed.

"Freekit, you have reached six moons and are now ready to become an apprentice. From now on, you shall be known as Freepaw. Nightshadeberry, you are a new warrior, but I trust you will be a great mentor to Freepaw."

"Beaconkit, you have also reached six moons old. From now on, you shall be known as Beaconpaw. You have been given a special apprenticeship, Elmwhisker has chosen you to become his apprentice. I know it's much, but I have full faith that you will do well."


Swiftstar looked up as he addressed the rest of the announcements. 

"Snowpaw will be reassigned to Lureluster, and Specterpaw to Reedtwist."

"That is all, you are dismissed."
