Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

( This thread is set in the past, about four moons prior to now, before DayClan and SpringClan were captured, but after Wormwood's execution. In this thread, a pregnant Crowluminescence has been murdered by Foxstar, unbeknownst to everyone. Foxstar, on a 'routine' walk 'discovers' the body and seven kittens she hadn't seen before, and promptly passes out. The Sun God visits her in a dream, telling her about the purpose of six of the kits, reincarnated as punishment for her actions in killing a pregnant feline, and for the lies she's about to tell the clan. When Foxstar wakes, she has been found by other SunClan cats, none of whom know the real story, and Foxstar spins a story that the Sun God came to her in a dream, telling her that this death, and the murders of Crowlight and Crowluster, were the work of the Dark Forest, and that from now on, all Crows are cursed. Feel free to join in! Everyone is welcome. )
After the prayers for the morning, Foxstar had elected to go for a walk alone. Crowluminescence hadn't been there, and the Priestess had elected to check the rock, just to be certain. Not that they had anything to worry about, right? Wormwood had been executed not long ago, and therefore, no one had anything to worry about. Calm had returned to the clan for the first time in a long while, but it was short to last, as the High Priestess came upon a body at the base of the rock, bloody, but with the signature marks of those killed before. Just like Crowlight and Crowluster, but this one had no falsities too it. Not that there would be, of course. Foxstar had ensured that it was perfect, as always. Except, there was something off.
Curled against the deceased queen's belly were seven kits. Foxstar hardly had a moment to comprehend the unusual sight than her vision went black, and the Priestess crumpled to the ground.
When her eyes opened, she stood on the Isle of the Chosen, in an open, Sunny field, tall grasses blowing in the wind that whipped around her. Before her stood the Sun God, not as SunClan knew him, but as the ancients had. Before the Priestess stood a massive lion with a mane of flames, his tailtip alight with fire as burning amber eyes, so foreign yet so familiar, stared down at her. Not with kindness or care, but with a righteous anger that seemed to sear it's way forever into the Priestess' vision. Behind him stood seven cats, three to his right, and four to his left. It was the four that she recognized. Crowlight. Crowluster. Crowluminescence. Tearystar. All cats she'd killed at various points in her life. The three to his right, however, were cats she didn't recognize, but there was little time for her to consider them, as the deity stepped forth, power thrumming through the ground, the strength of it seeming to echo in Foxstar's ears.
This was, perhaps, the first time in her entire life, that Foxstar's heart raced, and she felt true fear. She could feel the wrath of the cat before her, and she wondered if this would be where she died, cursed just as Wormwood was, to wander and hate, and be restless. To never find a shred of happiness or warmth again. In another first, the Priestess' mouth opened, perhaps to beg for her life, or to apologize for her actions, yet nothing came out. What she might have said was lost to time as the voice of the Sun God boomed, rolling over her, it's strength and fury reaching down and grasping her very soul.
"SILENCE!"
The singular word was enough to stop the auburn feline in her tracks, not only unable to form words in the sense of being unable to come up with something to say, but she found herself physically incapable of speaking. Her mouth wouldn't move, no matter what she tried, and no sound save for her own breathing, lost to the feel of the deity's power and the sound of her own heart beating wildly in her chest.
"Foxstar, you have killed one of your own clanmates, nay, one of your own kits. You are a traitor to SunClan, and unworthy to be called High Priestess. The punishment for your actions is death, not by my own paw, but by those who were felled by yours. Crowlight, Crowluster, and Crowluminescence, who you killed to fulfil your own selfish desires will now be your assassins. They will be trained under three of the ancient leaders reborn with their minds, bodies, and skills, and should you manage to kill the three Crows again, those mentors, will become your assassins, and will not stop in their onslaught until either you or they lie dead on the ground. Until they reach twelve moons of age, you will be unable to kill these three Crows, and until they are dead, you will be unable to kill the ancients. Any attempts made before this will undoubtedly fail.”
The Sun God’s words were harsh, a promise to the Priestess that she would pay for what she’d done. As if to preface the deity’s next words, the three unfamiliar cats, who Foxstar could only assumed were the ancients, each stepped beside one of the Crow’s, their expression ranging from anger, to disappointment, to pure hatred as they stared at her.
The first of them was a massive Maine Coon tom with largely white fur, though his legs and face were an intricately patterned gold. Muscles rippled beneath his pelt, and amber-brown eyes that would usually sparkle with warmth, held nothing but fury. He bore a striking resemblance to the Sun God that SunClan knew, though Foxstar could sense they held no actual relation.
“To Crowlight, I assign Rorke, the first of the ancients. Under my direction, he became the first leader of cats as you know them, at a time with the big cats disappeared, gathering all who would listen with a charming smile and welcoming words. In his veins runs lion’s blood, or so they say.”
The second was a head taller that Rorke, and had a wild Savannah look about her, though she seemed the most peaceful out of three, with a sand colored pelt riddled with ebony spots and a white chin, she could even be called beautiful. But her usually warm gold eyes were frigidly cold, terrifying in a way that Foxstar could not begin to even describe.
“To Crowluster, I assign Sydney, the third of the ancients. During her reign, the ancient worshipers knew peace, for her skill in diplomacy was great, and they thrived, their land spreading to the farthest corners of the land that you call home. Her eyes, though, were enough to silence even the toughest of creatures.”
The third cat, unlike the rest, was tiny, even for apprentice standards, no larger than a four moon old kit, a Singapura with dust shaded cream fur and orange eyes that blazed like the flames of the deity before him. His eyes, unlike the other two, were much more severe, and held nothing but contempt and hatred for the Priestess. Though small, the tom held himself as if he were as large as the others, and he gave of an air of cunning to rival even Foxstar’s own.
“And finally, to Crowluminescence, I assign Kaelen, the second to last of the ancients. It was his reign that tried the worshipers beyond that which they’d ever known, and wars ran rampant across the land. He led with his intellect, and through him they remained strong, said to be able to call on and wield my power as if it were his own when times called for it.”
Three cats, remarkable enough for the Sun God himself to call them to action and recall the accomplishments they’d made in life. Each capable of inflicting terror on their own, but to behold them together, seeing them in their prime, was another thing entirely.
“This is your punishment for killing your clanmate, your own daughter, while she was pregnant, for the lies you are about to tell the clan of her death and of my words, for defying me, and the price for keeping your rank and my favor. Only the ancients, myself, and you, will know what truly transpired today, and you will carry this secret with you until these six lay dead, or you have run out of lives to live.”
As if she’d been released from a spell, Foxstar felt her mouth able to move again, her throat unlocked from the invisible hold on her, but what was there to say? She couldn’t defy him, she knew as much, though she felt relief, however small it was, that she would live to see another day. It would be moons before they were properly able to try and kill her, and longer still until any of the ancients before her personally had the chance. Perhaps it was mercy, or simply there to scare her all the more.
“What about Tearystar?” Of all the things she could have said, that was the only thing Foxstar could think to say, to mention the one cat whose presence had been all but ignored thus far.
“She wouldn’t shut up until I agreed to let her go back too.”
As if a light had been switched, the Sun God seemed to revert to normal, and they sat side by side, somewhere above the rock, staring down at the seven kits, at Foxstar’s own unconscious body, and Crowluminescence’s limp frame, watching in real time as a cat discovered the scene and ran for help. Soon enough, a crowd began to form, as the clan was made aware of the Priestess and daughter who’d clearly died before the morning prayers had even begun.
Foxstar almost questioned the deity further, blinking at the drastic change that left her reeling from the suddenness of it all, but she never had the chance.
The Priestess blinked her eyes, faces swimming in and out of her vision as sound rushed into her ears, worried voices and relieved shouts ringing around the rock over the murmurs as Foxstar came to. No one looked at her in anger, or seemed to have felt the Sun God’s presence so close at hand. There was only concern on their faces as they helped her up into a sitting position, the fox-furred feline, having to take a moment to process all that was going on around her.
"Foxstar! Foxstar, what happened?" He nosed his mate desperately in a vain attempt to rouse her. It had been strange enough when he had been called over to witness a corpse and the unconscious leader, and his heart had beaten nervously in fear of what might happen if she didn't wake up. Finally, the Priestess stirred, and Condorstrike sighed heavily in relief. "Everyone keep back, give her some room," he ordered, his voice quivering as he helped nudge her up to her paws. "Foxstar... are you okay?"
The soothsayer stood next to Condorstrike, his expression unreadable. "What happened, Foxstar?" Seeing the leader so shaken clued him in that the Sun God could be involved. Only a visit from a celestial could cause that.

Foxstar sat still for a moment, shooting an appreciative look to Condorstrike, and this time, she didn't even have to fake it. She was rattled, and though she was quickly composing herself, there was obviously something on her mind. "I'm alright. How are the kits?" The Priestess dodged the question, which was unusual for her, though she did give a long look at Dragonswrath, all but confirming what the tom already thought. Something had happened with the Sun God, and they'd almost certainly find out soon enough. For now, she still needed a minute to process.
"They seem... alright? Are these Crowluminescene's?" Condorstrike glanced over at the bodies in confusion. The little kits all seemed healthy enough. It should have been obvious they belonged to the fallen warrior - they shared her midnight coat, and she had been pregnant - but he wasn't sure what to make of it all the same.

Hiddencharm had been near by when he heard the shouts, and the sight of many cats gathering nearby. He picked up his pace, trotting over to them. As his eyes landed upon the scene he felt his heart began to beat faster, as his legs came to a stop. It was rather a horrific scene after all. A corpse, a collapsed leader, blood... but what caught his attention was the litter of newborns. Everyone had known of Crowluminescence's pregnancy, but the scene before him didn't make a lot of sense. Why was their mother dead? Why were the kits left alone? While the others were all looking at Foxstar for answers, his focus was on the fragile lives before him. He slowly approached, and nosed one of the kits gently. They all seemed to be in good health. Each one squirming, trying to stay warm and seeking food "Hungry" he murmured in response to Foxstar's question.

Lochflare was just returning to camp with his jaws full of today's hunt when he heard the nearby commotion. He quickly buried them for later before racing to the group of cats. It was a strange sight. Foxstar, Dragonswrath, a dead crowluminescene and seven hungry kits all grouped together. What was happening here? Something seemed wrong but he did not question it too much. "I can help carry them back to camp. Perhaps one of the other nursing warriors can feed them." He shivered at the sight of all the blood, remembering Deal's execution, but put the thought out of his mind. He didn't want to see any more death on their land.

Foxstar nodded slightly, slowly composing herself. The lies came easily to her mind, a story crafted that would explain the dead queen and her similarly named predecessors. "Let's get them back to camp." She agreed, rising to her paws. "I think they are Crowluminescence's, yes... Someone please bring her body back to camp, so we can have a vigil for her and bury her later. For now, we should return to camp and get away from this terrible place. I have an announcement to make." Her words were slow, calm, though the she-cat didn't seem capable of bringing herself to look at her deceased daughter and new grandchildren, moving more on automatic, instead of allowing herself the chance to grieve.
This was the second of her children killed in such a manner, and given they'd only just gotten over Wormwood's betrayal, this was a blow that would reopen wounds only just closed, as well as those that had healed long ago.
Dragonswrath stepped forward. “Brokenstride would probably be okay with feeding them while you grieve.” His voice was gentle as he spoke to the High Priestess.

The painted feline nodded almost absently to his words. Yes, that made sense. She'd have to ensure the feline had extra borage, then. Seven mouths to feed was a lot even for a normal queen, let alone one with other kits to look after. "There will be time to grieve later. Right now, we need to ensure the survival of the kits, and gather the clan for a meeting. I suggest you gather the Janus and search the territory for anyone out on patrol. When you all return, I'll know to begin." This wasn't the sort of meeting she wanted to leave cats out of, not when it was this important.

Hiddencharm nodded and picked up two of the small kits to assist in bringing them back to camp. He couldn't help but notice the two kits that were larger than their litter mates, especially the one that had lifted by the scruff. There was something about the little tom that seemed strangely familiar, but he couldn't place the feeling. He tried to shrug it off, as he followed to take them back to camp.

Lochflare looked at the row of kits, feeling a bit puzzled by them. They didn't all seem to be... related or even the same age. He shook the thoughts from his mind and bent to pick up a large kit and a small kit. Of course they were littermates, they were together by his dead clanmates body who else's would they be. He glanced at Hiddencharm as he followed the other cat back to camp, assuming that Foxstar would stay with the kits until more cats returned to carry them all back to camp.
Soon enough, more cats had arrived, with Lastaffair picking up two of the three remaining kits, and Zendikdominance picking up the last one. Foxstar, for her part, insisted on carrying her daughter, and off they went to camp.
Unsurprisingly, they had all been gathered by the time the Priestess and her entourage arrived with the kits and the body of the recently deceased queen. Without so much as a word, Foxstar arranged Crowluminescence's body, Mountainsound aiding in preparing the corpse for vigil, herbs strewn around and across her dark fur. Soon would be the time to grieve, but until then, the Priestess had an announcement to make.
