Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Shallowgraves should be proud of his new warrior name but instead he could only feel a heavy burden sitting in his chest and weighing down any joy he might feel. He looked towards others and saw them building their reputations and making names for themselves. Then there was him, an unknown, with the same friend at his side and no new ones made in moons and moons. What was he doing? What was he reaching for? He loved Cagedbird but could he be content with only her at his side, when he had never known anything else? Questioning that made his heart pang, guilt clawing at him, but he couldn't not wonder. Wonder about the world he still had yet to really discover.

"Congratulations," the dusky brown tom called, passing by Shallowgraves as he made his way out of the warriors den. He was making his rounds, making sure all the members of the clan to make sure everyone was fed and happy. They would need them healthy for the next round of raids. Sweetpine smiled, something sincered for once, "Did your vigil go well?"
Head craning around the tom peered at the Jarl, would have spooked if he hadn't been so tired and wrapped up in his own thoughts. As it was, it took his brain a moment to even process what the other said to him. Giving a slow nod that might have come a little to late and speaking in a manner that made it almost obvious his thoughts were being taken elsewhere. "Yes, yes it went well. Cold of-course but when is it not." He let out a weak laugh, trying to be companionable and feeling like he was failing miserably at it.

He nodded back, tail twitching. "Have you been able to grab a bite to eat since yet? You look like you may need something to occupy your mind outside of your inner voice." He chuckled, flicking his ears as he took a few tentative steps towards the fresh-kill pile before looking back towards the other tom.
He followed mostly on instinct, not the type of cat that would ever turn down an invite from the jarl themselves. Even if there was a distant part of him that nagged at him and reminded him he said he would seek out Cagedbird as soon as he got a chance. He comforted himself with the knowledge that she would wait for him and not hold it against him. "Maybe food will help me get back into the real world yes." He agreed, giving a small, tentative smile that was a little more engaged.

Sweetpine nodded, knowing very well from his past how well food could work as a miracle drug. He wondered how Mistyveil was faring since the ancients had placed a curse upon her, but shrugged it off, knowing well it wasn't his business and he didn't really want to get involved more than he was. "Here, want this one?" he asked, looking towards the warrior as he plucked a vole off the pile. It was fat, kinda warm and smelled fresh. He didn't like to eat the stolen prey they had.
