Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Normally, Faeriekit would have thought her idea stupid, but she had just woken up from a rather interesting dream and her curiosity was now piqued. Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, she gently prodded whichever of her siblings was still in their nest. It was another moment before her blurry vision cleared, and she was able to see that everyone had left the nursery except for Druidkit, whom Faeriekit was currently attempting to nudge awake.
"Druidkit! Hey, Druidkit," she whispered, as if she was actually afraid of waking her sibling. "We live in a cave, right? Do you think there's other caves below this one?" Whether or not Druidkit was awake enough to hear her, she had just wanted to voice her thoughts before she could forget her dream.
"Mmmph..." Came the mumbling of the small kitten as she peeled her eyes open. Druidkit gave a loud puff as she pushed herself groggily upwards to look upon her sister. "What is it now, Faeriekit?" She asked, shaking her head now. "You woke me up... I was having such a magical dream..." she muttered. As her sister began asking about caves, her eyes suddenly held a new fire to them. "Oh, I do wonder! Maybe we should go explore!" She suggested, no longer seeming tired.
For a moment, as her sister was waking, guilt began creeping in over Faeriekit. She hadn't meant to disturb Druidkit when she was having a good dream. Was it just her, or did her sister sound sad to wake up? There were other kits in the camp, she could have went and asked her question to any of the awake kits. Slowly, Faeriekit lifted her gaze back to meet Druidkit's, expecting to see displeasure in her sister's gaze. Instead, she was shocked when she saw the burning excitement in her eyes. At her sister's next words, Faeriekit couldn't help the smile that formed on her face. She was so sure that Druidkit would be angry with her.
"Yes!" she squeaked, then paused, embarrassment rushing over her at her voice. She cleared her throat, then continued, "There must be a hidden entrance somewhere, don't you think? Or perhaps we could just try digging, but that might take a while..." Blue eyes stared down at the ground as she lightly pawed at it, testing its hardness. It would definitely hurt to dig, she decided. "Where would be most likely to have a secret entrance," she muttered.
