Ironkit narrowed her eyes at the chattering kits around her. Ah, so noisy at such an early time. How could they already want to chat and play? Have they even had food yet? Deciding she would never figure it out, she let out a grumpy snort and began making her way outside the nursery, squinting at the sunlight that poured into her optics. Taking a good look around, the gruff kit decided to find a nice, quiet, sunny spot in camp to lay down and try to go back to sleep.
"Is something the matter Ironkit?" Burningstar asked the ginger she cat noticing her adopted daughter wandering around in the daylight. It was a warmer day so many mothers had let the kits out to play. And the ginger leader had taken out a patrol to go see if the warmer temperatures they were experiencing would cause an increase in prey. "ARe you hungry? I caught a mouse if you want it," Burningstar offered setting down one of the mice she caught, "If not I'll be back in a moment, just going to drop off the rest of this in the pile." She said gathering the rest of her catches and heading for the fresh kill pile.
