Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The place looked more like the den of some monstrously huge spider: cobwebs gnarled into every bush, strung between the tree stumps, with all fashion of clattering materials bobbing in the mix. It was well-protected, if not downright eerie and off-putting. The wiry blue-gray cat perched at the very tippity top of the log pile seemed pleased by view from where she was; that view being absolutely nothing pretty or interesting as far as the eye could see.
"Absolutely nothing is gonna get through 'ere," she was saying, beginning to scale down the logs when something absolutely did get through 'ere. A two-leg had approached from the opposite direction and Zydeco, paying no heed to anything but her own self-glorification, hadn't noticed until she felt the pile shift beneath her paws. Suddenly, as she whipped her head around to see him, the logs that the human didn't grab started to collapse and barrel towards her. With surprising swiftness for only having three legs, she raced down and leaped to safety- right into the mess of cobwebs, which wrapped around and clung to her face, chest, and shoulders.
"HELP! SOMEBODY, ANYBODY, HEEEEELP! HE'S BACK! HE'S GONNA KILL ME!!!" she shrieked, fleeing for (presumably) her life. She never noticed that the two-leg was not giving chase to the frantic, yowling wildcat, not even when she collided with another feline. Immediately, Zydeco's claws clasped into the skin of the cat, her yellow-ringed green eyes bloodshot and wild. "Save me please," she sobbed.
tldr: self-satisfied zydeco rigged up a cobweb trap to protect herself. it immediately failed and now she's running for her life but looks like a half-ghost half-lake monster bc the webs stuck to her
The young warrior had been out patrolling by himself, trying to feel important as one usually does, when the overwhelming shrieking caught his attention. It was a voice that he didn't recognize but nonetheless he took off in the general direction, determined to help the cat that seemed to be on the verge of deadly demise. As he drew nearer, he had to swerve around a two leg in his path, nervous that it was the cause of the desperate cries. As he came upon the source he skids to a halt, feeling quite off-put by the sight in front of him. It took him a moment to realize the thing clutching to him was indeed a cat.
"Um, what happened to you?" Pinespell didn't realize he probably came off rude to the newcomer but couldn't help himself. He began pulling what webs he could away from her fur as he waited on her response.
