Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Amulius paused as he passed through, noticing the shivering form of Nemsys. Questioning why exactly she was out suffering in the cold when she could take refuge inside somewhere. Amulius himself did alright in the cold, his thick mountain of fur helping keep him warm, though even this brutal winter had him calling it a day earlier than preferred.
She heard the soft crunch of snow under Amulius' paws before she saw the combatant. Her Bengal coat was not nearly as insulating as it was required to be for such harsh conditions, but she did not excuse her shivering. It was still weakness, an obvious and vulnerable hole in her defenses. "Do we have a problem?"
"Should we?" The tom asked in slight surprise, raising a brow at the Heda. He also thought it lightly amusing, how prickly the cats of Asbum Lux could be. When he himself considered the group something of a gathered group of introverts. Who seemed to prefer their time alone but banded together under one name for the protection and security it offered them.
The Bengal Heda snorted and lashed her tail. "I don't know. It's not like you just sized me up." She knew it was a bit of an exaggeration, but she was in a horrible mood. Why she decided to camp at the edge of the territory the night before, she did not know.
Amulius raised a brow, wondering what had crawled into her nest and died. "I suppose I should be on my way then, so we can divert this situation from further escalation? I know I certainly had no plans on quarreling today. And especially not with my Heda." He hummed mildly, dipping his head and stepping away. Leaving the next move up to her.
Of course the cat she chose to pick a fight with was the most passive cat in the Coalition. She growled under her breath and folded her ears back. "Then don't size me up like I'm your prey..." Her voice trailed off as she realized she did not know this tom's name. "Go hunt someone or something else, just not me."
