Hello everyone!! <3 It is time for Winterclan to have some new drama hehe. How this is going to work is that the plot will be split into several parts since there are a few areas where we are still working out the details and it's going to take some user interaction to see where it goes.
Here is the summary of the plot broken into sections:
PART 1 - Tuskstar, a non-pureblooded Winterclanner and now Sovereign, has already ruffled some furs given that she is not a pureblood of Winterclan. However, she is still permitted to receive her lives and Lord Borealis seems to approve of her so far. Upon her return, she gives some shocking news to the clan: The caste system is being abolished. That means all of the social statuses and the perks that go with them are being removed. Everyone is to be treated depending on their dedication and hard work to the clan. This obviously causes an uproar in two ways: The non-traditionalists (or those who stand against the purebloods) are ecstatic and celebrating getting to be treated as an equal and the traditionalists are angry and want to fight back against this new law. This leads to a split in the clan and the traditionalists leave the main camp to come up with a strategy to overthrow Tuskstar and renew the system. As they leave, Lord Borealis is angry so he darkens the sky and sends storms, awful heat, and avalanches upon Winterclan for the foreseeable future.
PART 2 - This will be separated into TWO threads, one being the traditionalists plotting to attack and the other being the non-traditionalists trying to figure out how to survive among the storms and growing cautious with the looming threat. At the end of this will be the confrontation where the first war will begin.
WAR THREAD 1 - This is the first war between the traditionalists and non-traditionalists. The traditionalists will win by just a hair and the traditionalists will be forced out.
PART 3 - In this section, the traditionalists are making their way out of the territory when they decide to take shelter in some caves. As they prepare a temporary camp in the caves, an avalanche causes a cave in and they are now trapped. There will be a moment where we will hop over to the non-traditionalists who are recovering from the battle. A patrol of these cats hear the traditionalists crying out to be saved and go report back to Tuskstar. The clan then must decide whether they save them or not. - Scenario One: They decide to save them and the traditionalists return to camp where some may rejoin, others leave to go to Summerclan because they know Foxstar would probably take them in - Scenario Two: They decide NOT to save them, but a group of cats who opposed this decision, goes to rescue them (I'm thinking this could lead to the rescue teams return once the clan realizes leaving those cats to die is probably wrong LOL). All traditionalists leave to Summerclan.
PART 4 - ***This part is still being worked out*** Basically, in this section the traditionalists are going to tell Foxstar that Tuskstar and the clan set them up to die and Fox is going to take pity on them. They will have a safe space to recover and regroup while in Summerclan and Summer's support when they plan to go to war with Winter again. Once they are ready to get their revenge and take back their clan, Fox sends a patrol prepared to fight if they aren't accepted back into the group, sending a message that he isn't going to stand for oppression and if any of the traditionalists are harmed, Summerclan will defend them. The traditionalists are accepted back in and the problems start again and war looms closer. As that happens, Tusk goes to meet with Fox to explain her side of the story and the traditionalists use this moment to try and attack her. Because of this, Fox sees their true nature and offers to defend the non-traditionalists to make up for his mistake.
WAR THREAD 2 - This is the final battle between the non-traditionalists and traditionalists, but Summer is no longer supporting the traditionalists. It ends again with the non-traditionalists winning and whoever does not plan on staying being driven out to go wreak havoc in other clans.
WHAT WE WILL NEED FOR THE PLOT: - Traditionalists that believe the caste system should stay and that a pureblood should be leading the clan. I know most people want their characters to be noble and just, so if you want to create families for this plot then go ahead! I think it would also be neat to have a ringleader of the traditionalists so if anyone is interested in that, lmk <3
- Non-Traditionalists fighting for equal rights in the clan and the caste system to stay abolished.
- A rescue team to go and save the traditionalists and other characters during the storms and such. I think I will hold sign-ups rather than tryouts and it will be first come, first serve <3

Could Juniperkit be an apprentice of either one of the Traditionalist or Rescue Team members? This sounds super fun
If Juniperkit is apprenticed to a Traditionalist then her views will be morphed by what her mentor is teaching her, if it's by the rescuers then she'll most likely be unbiased or on the non-traditionalist side.

Oh, Mistletoeberry would be a tradionalist for sure the problem goes with Moonstorm, if Mistletoeberry leaves she will take Cascadekit and Silentkit with her but I don't know if Moonstorm will be up for that

drawing up a bio for her fam rn, father and his ilk will be hardcore traditionalists, mother is a usurper cackling with glee from exile with children in the clan secretly overjoyed at the anarchy 0_0

I am so excited that y'all have taken interest in the plot!! All of these ideas sound so fun and I'm glad to see that there are plenty of traditionalists to cause the uproar c; As for the Rescue Team, I'll post those sign ups and link them here and just make sure to put Gardenbee on there Enderwoxxu (I'll go ahead and reserve her a spot since you've expressed interest in it). With Juniperkit, either way would be pretty interesting! If she's being taken in by Waywardpass, though, he is going to be non-traditionalist along with Ravenkit and Merrykit <3 So it might be cool for her to be the first Rescue Team student!
Also the intricacies of these families is going to make this really interesting, especially with Hiddenchalice. I'm so excited to see how that plays out with her!
