Merrykit watched as the icicle slowly dripped into a small pool in front of her paws. She let out a bored sigh, wondering when her paws would be large enough to be a student's and not a measly little kitten's. She dipped one of her paws into the icy puddle then flicked it out in front of her, imagining that the water droplets on the ground were bits of land that she could adventure to and escape from the boredoms of kithood.

Juniperkit had noticed her denmate's bored expression. She too had been mostly bored for the day, but maybe she could have some fun with Merrykit. With a mischievous smile, Juniperkit attempted to tread lightly behind Merrykit in hopes of sneak attacking her.

"Just imagining." Merrykit responded softly, swiveling an ear in Bluepaw's but not taking her eyes off the little water dropped land masses. "Bluepaw, is it fun being a student? Do you get to adventure a lot?" The kit was so lost in her thoughts and the questions that she didn't even notice Juniperkit's sneaking.
