Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It was early morning, the light pale as it spilled into the warriors’ den, illuminating but not reflecting off the dewy grass at the entrance to the den. Blocking the entrance was a small but broad-shouldered apprentice, head held high and mischievous green gaze fixed on Raccoonsong.
“I want to go—“ a brief pause— “hunting, but I need an adult to go with me. So what’cha think? Raccoonsong?”
The deputy had dictated that no apprentice should go out alone, but Mothpaw was restless; she wanted to go now and have some fun. If that meant harassing every adult in the clan, so be it!

Raccoonsong was sleeping pacefully in her nest, she didn't sleep as well as when she was a kit, when like an alarm sound she got up as quickly as she can, what a badger, a fox or even worse a two-leg. When she looked that was only an apprentice and the other warriors didn't respond she calm down a bit and more when Mothpaw said to her that she wanted to go hunting, why she?, she was there less than a month she was almost new, why mothpaw need to be her to go with the apprentice to hunt a bit, well she didn't want to Mothpaw to feel disappointed or sorry.
"Ok, I will go with you, but why me?, why not your mentor?" She walked to the entrace of the camp but she felt like she was going to fall asleep at the middle of the walk or something, she was so tired but when the clan start moving to other place it would be worse if she wasn't prepared.
Mothpaw blinked slowly as the warrior jumped to her feet, looking completely unfazed. She knew the warrior wasn't going to hurt her, she was just waking up with energy, and she liked that.
"Thanks, Raccoonsong!" she chirped, her eyes immediately brightening, like a flame ignited inside of their depths. She spun around and pranced toward the camp entrance at the warrior's side. "Limeburst doesn't like it when I bother him this early in the morning. I think we should start the day early, don't you think? No need to waste daylight! Besides, the sunset is so pretty."
Mothpaw wisely chose not to mention that was also the reason she had chosen Raccoonsong -- most of the warriors had learned their lesson. If you gave into Mothpaw's shenanigans once, you were stuck for every morning for the rest of your life.

Raccoonsong watched the apprentice energy, she was like that when she was younger?, well she won't mind a peacefully hunt in the morning, it could also help the clan to get more food, but it could also tire out the apprentice and she didn't want a row from her mentor like she was the apprentice so she would be careful. She walked out from the camp watching to the apprentice if she was following her and when Raccoonsong thinked they where a bit far from the camp, she talked to Mothpaw.
"Well, where do you want to start?" She asked the apprentice with a smile in her face, she wasn't so familiar with the territory so she let Mothpaw make the decision after all she was who propose the idea of go hunting.
Mothpaw wore a contented half smile as they left the camp, stretching out her neck to bask in the early sun, excitement lifting the fur on her spine. She had spent so much of her life in the camp, it was boring there, and she liked being able to explore. Once, before she was born, SwiftClan used to travel to new camps all the time and see new things. It sounded legendary and dangerous and epic, and she wished they would do it again. There were so many things to see in the world!
She straightened up as Raccoonsong deferred to her, surprised at first, but then pleased. The apprentice never got to make decisions, but she was going to prove she made the very best ones! But where to start?
Mothpaw hummed as she chewed on the question, then went with the first thing to pop into her mind. First thought, best thought, right?
"Let's go to the Boulders!" she chirped. They weren't far, might have prey, and most importantly, there was a forbidden cave there she was eager to explore.

Raccoonsong giggled a bit she couldn't take all the energy that the apprentice has, but she should start moving or the apprentice litteraly would drag her there, she could imagine that from Mothpaw, she started the route to the boulders even if they wouldn't take so long to arrive to the site, they could chat for a bit, it won't hurt anyone "Hey, how is it going your apprenticeship?" It was a good question that usually any of your family could ask but it was good too if you're meeting a stranger apprentice cat.
Then by that reflexive thought she made another question "Do you any familiar in Swiftclan?" It could be a question that Mothpaw would take like a bad thing but she can always say that was only for curiosity.
"It's pretty fun! I'm a really fierce warrior, and an epic hunter." She reared up on her hind legs to demonstrate her best battle moves, striking the air a few times with her fore paws. Then she started to sway, her haunches trembling with the effort of standing tall, so she dropped back to all four paws.
"Yeah, of course I do! I've got--" Mothpaw paused then, a funny look on her face, like a bad taste had settled suddenly over her tongue. Her ears drooped. "No.... It used to be Momma and Antpaw and I. But Momma left to see her friend, and she got really sick there... and he had to bring her body back."
Mothpaw didn't fully understand what happened to her mother. The older cats had tried to explain, but it didn't make sense. Her mother had faced down a rabid fox and she'd been bitten but she survived, so why was she dead now, if she defeated the enemy?
She swallowed. "And Antpaw disappeared last moon."

Raccoonsong laugh a bit of Mothpaw warrior legend moves but then she felt sorry for the apprentice, she knew it was bad asking that but it won't fix the things thinking about the past "Don't worry, I'm sure they will find antpaw somewhere and soon" She land her tail in Mothpaw shoulder but trying to not think much about it she padded to the boulders and sit waiting for Mothpaw making a movement to say to the apprentice to sit next to her.
"Well, A propose you a challenge" Raccoonsong winked to Mothpaw "Who catch more prey before the sun goes high will win an award, heh, what do you think?" She stand up and before Mothpaw could answer, she could messing up again but if it's not surely Mothpaw would ask her what was the prize and she didn't thinked it well so while she was hunting she could think of it and with that said she disappear in the forest "And the time starts now!" She shout to the apprentice.
"I think so too," she said, though she did not sound like she believed it. Mothpaw remained subdued until they reached the boulders. She sat down and flopped her head back to look up at the warrior.
A challenge? Mothpaw leaped to her paws like a bolt of lightning had raced through her - eyes wide, fur on end, and grinning. "All right!" she replied enthusiastically, confident in the game despite the fact she was facing an older cat. "Hey not fair, you got a head start!" As Raccoonsong left, Mothpaw plunged into the undergrowth after her, following several steps behind before she veered off to go her own way.
But where was the best place to start? The canopy was bustling above her, but there was little chance she could climb up there and catch something. Should she go back to the boulders themselves and sneak between the cracks?

Raccoonsong walked away from the boulders laughing a bit, she knew she shouldn't let the apprentice alone and probably if something happend to Mothpaw, her mentor will rip off her throat like a minim punishment so she came back from her steps where she could wacth Mothpaw while the apprentice couldn't see her but for that she won't let the apprentice won that easy, so she started to sniff around the area to a mouse poking around the leaves, it could be a rough play, she could take all the prey who Mothpaw could catch or if she alert a bird all the preys of Mothpaw would run away and they need to move to another zone to find some.
After she cought the little mouse she started watching the apprentice with some luck Mothpaw didn't felt watched and saw her but with her grey pelt she easly could hide in the boulders qithout be spotted.
Mothpaw was excited to have a chance to be on her own, and she wasn't afraid at all. Not one bit! She knew this land and she wasn't scared of any birds or mice. She just had to find them and take them down, they were no match for her, not even those rabbits that were almost the same size as Mothpaw herself.
She crept around with her head turning back and forth into the wind until she scented prey: luckily not a rabbit, but a mouse. She trekked after the scent stealthily, pulling herself forward paw by paw, until the scent grew stronger and suddenly faded out. Where had the prey gone? Mothpaw frowned, unaware that this mouse had already been caught by another hunter, and started to circle around the spot over and over again.

Raccoonsong prefer this time to go a bit farther to catch her preys, Mothpaw didn't caught any prey and that could be the fault of Raccoonsong so ahe wanted to give a opportunty to the apprentice to catch something going out of Mothpaw zone but she hopes that the apprentice won't happend anything bad or even to her, it would be a bit dangerous to wonder out herself...no....She was a warrior she shouldn't stay thinking about being hurt herself,.she should only care for the apprentice, she hasn't the experience of a warrior or the strength to face off any invader.
She shaked herself it wasn't any danger it was their own territory, she bury her prey and track another one trying not to be other prey that Mothpaw was going to catch, she was far enough to let Mothpaw in peace and catch some prey and to hear if the apprentice scream or called for help.
Eventually her circles brought her into the path of another prey scent. Her ears went straight up and she hurried after it, paws buzzing with excitement. Prey! She followed the scent until she spotted the shrew, moving ahead but at a languid pace.
Mothpaw sprinted at the prey full speed and caught it by surprise. It spun around and fled, but a couple swift steps and she was on top of it, tackling it to the ground and shaking it until it went still. Then she sat back and yowled jovially, "I CAUGHT ONE, RACCOONSONG!"

Raccoonsong could get the scent of a squirrel searching for food near her, she prepare herself to run to it, the squirrels were fast and difficult to catch but a great reward when you're able to caught one, she would surely win this if she's able to catch it.
"I CAUGHT ONE, RACCOONSONG!"
That scream from Mothpaw made Raccoonsong jump and scared away the squirrel, she was angry but at the same time proud of Mothpaw like if she was her own apprentice and she went where Mothpaw was, "A bit more louder and you'll wake up all Swiftclan and Summerclan" She said sarcastically when she appear from the bushes but it could be true that she scared away all the preys in the zone.
Mothpaw was still sitting over her prey when Raccoonsong found her, beaming down at it. It wasn't her first catch, but her eyes were so full of excitement, it could have been. She didn't even notice that she had scared away prey.
"GOOD!" she yipped, looking up and grinning at the warrior. "I want everyone to know!"

Raccoonsong laugh a bit for the apprentice excitement "Well I think it's not that great, now we should move on if we don't want the competition to be a tie, because you probably scared away the prey" She walked with calm where she buried her prey taking for granted that Mothpaw was following her.
Mothpaw shrugged, unbothered. "Okay," she chirped. She picked her prey back up and took a few sets. Set it down, adjusted her grip. Then she trotted after Raccoonsong with her tail high.
