Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
VIVIANNA LOOKED DOWN AT THE SMALL PILE OF HERBS THAT ACCUMULATED IN HER GRASP. It was a frustratingly small amount, she mused, but it was better that way. She couldn't sneak large masses of herbs from the rest of the group, after all, without anyone catching her. A few berries here and there to test out potential remedies for small illnesses, that would be alright though. Justifiable. The feline let out a sigh, before wrapping them up in a small leaf so that they were more easily carried.
It was then, her ears pricked as the sound of footsteps began to echo through the tunnels towards her direction.

Anguis had stepped down from Chaman when it had become obvious that the job was entirely too stressful to him. His thick fur had finally grown back after the plague of sickness from the bats, but there was still a haunting look in his denim blue eyes. Those eyes were carbon copy of Manchester's. Underneath that gaze was a loneliness and confusion like no other. It was the tell-tale sign of a broken heart.
The black and white tom padded aimlessly down the tunnels, completely unaware of Vivianna's presence. However, her form soon entered his eyesight and he tilted his head. "What are you doing?" He questioned, peering down at the herbs at her feet.

She had stepped up to the position when she had been given no choice. The Blind Protector had visited her twice. The first time, she had been able to ignore it. After all, if there are no witnesses, truth doesn't have to be spread. Perhaps this had been selfish of her, to deny her role from the start. However, she had been convinced, and still was, that something had gone wrong. Viviana was not the cat you wanted as Chaman. However, Mars trusted the Blind Protector more than she did, and when she saw him in the dream as well, she knew she was quite honestly damned. Although she'd begrudgingly understood there was no way out of it now, she didn't like it.
It was interesting, then, that the cat one chaman removed from her was the cat that had ended up crossing her path. She thought about this for a moment, before letting her shoulders shrug. "Anguis," she greeted him casually before giving much thought to a response to his question. After another pause, she let out a sigh. "I am busying myself with the collection of herbs," she meowed, pushing her leaf pile slightly behind her. This was not necessarily a lie, but it also wasn't necessarily the truth. She was collecting, but why? "I could ask the same to you. Cats do not often come this way..."

Anguis' eyes flicked anxiously from the herbs to Vivianna. Goodness, he hoped he didn't offend her... What if you wasn't telling the truth? What if she was taking all those herbs to outsiders? What if they were going to take over RR? What if RR would be no more and then they would have to survive on their own? Wait, wait. If she knew what he was thinking surely she would ring his neck... Oh, what if this pause was too long? What if she knows what he is thinking? He opened his mouth to respond, but all that came out was a squeak. Clearing his throat, obviously embarrassed at this point, he finally answered her own question, "I-I just sometimes wander the tunnels t-to get my mind o-off of work."

She raised the cat-equivalent to a brow at the long pose. I thought I was bad at communication. Her lips twitched slightly at the thought, before she quickly pulled the expression for her face. She didn't need to make any more enemies than she already had. Cats had reason to distrust her, sure. There was an air of mystique that wrapped itself around her body, hung closely to her. She hadn't been given the nickname the witch for nothing. So, maybe his assumptions were not completely wrong, just mostly.
Her tail flicked absently at the response of the tom, before shrugging. "I suppose as Chaman I should be concerned with the idea of my guider's taking their mind off of work more than every once in a while," she mused, mostly to herself. "Frankly, though, I'm not sure I care." This second part was even more for her own ears, yet she said it aloud anyways.
"What is there to get your mind off of?" she then asked, trying to put on her most Chaman-y face possible. "Is there a situation in which I am unaware?" More than likely yes.

Oh, that was certainly a curious question for the tom. His mind was always chock full of things that need to be flushed out. Even at that moment, all the possibilities of her placing him in the prison because he was an awful guider were running through his mind like a thousand rabbits. Despite his inability to ever be calm, he was actually a skilled and useful guider. The tom was wicked smart and studied hard as a cadet. Honestly, that was why he was placed as Chaman at one point. Still, he had quite a few issues.
"Uh..." He started, at a loss for words for only a second, "Well, there is always the worry of cuts getting infected. What if someone's paw has to be taken off because of an infection? Cadet Pike nearly lost her life because a cut on her shoulder didn't heal properly (That was a bit of an exaggeration). Also, what if the bats come back? Some of our youngest are still recovering... And it's about to get colder, which means that white cough may make it's yearly debut. What if we don't have enough herbs to handle it? Commander Mars isn't getting enough rest and he could easily catch a disease that way..."
