She brushed away a bit of pollen from her muzzle and let out a sneeze in the process. This was always the worst time of the year for allergies. Chaicrisp let out a sigh and rested her head on her paws. She had been kept out of patrols and normal duties for the day because of her allergies. It was always boring having to stay in camp, especially if you felt as confused and emotionally troubled as she had recently.
Faepaw had been out in the woods surveying the growth of the herbs in their usual places. She was one that liked to keep busy and lose herself in her work, and she had managed to do just that after being appointed mca in the clan. The she-cat couldn't help but feel like she was neglecting what she felt were her duties to aid her clanmates in their non-physical ailments.
It almost seemed that her worries led her straight back into camp and before she knew it she stood in front of Chaicrisp, an almost puzzled looking expression on her face. "What ails you?" Faepaw's mew came softly but firmly at the same time, somehow; and honestly, it was a bit vague. Nonetheless the eccentric cat peered into Chaicrisp's gaze, seeming to search her thoughts.

Chaicrisp blinked a few times, not realizing at first that Faepaw had spoken to her. "Oh..uh... It's silly, especially for a warrior." She responded with an awkward smile. After a moment's pause, she let out another sigh and rose to sit up. "But I guess if you are willing to listen, I could use someone to talk to?"
With a deep nod she sat down in front of the she-cat, her gaze staring straight into Chaicrisp. "My ancestors have always been willing to listen, I work to continue their heritage. We were born for it. Please, what ails you?" Faepaw sounded a bit foreign from most cats that traveled around here, as she was from no Clan, and had traveled very far with her family before they were parted. Nonetheless it never seemed to place any sort of barrier between her and her new clan, language wise or otherwise.

Chaicrisp gave her a curious glance, having not heard about Faepaw’s ancestors before from the apprentice. But then again, this was the first time they had really spoken. “Well, I’m sure it will seem silly.” She started with a sigh. “I think most cats dream of finding their perfect partner and starting a family. I’ve only ever liked one cat and he’s simply not interested. I thought maybe I would venture out and try to find love in someone else but it seems like I’m just too…different… for others to really notice me. Ah, this does all seem kittish doesn’t it?” She blinked warmly, almost sadly, in the younger cat’s direction.
Faepaw listened to Chaicrisp intently, making sure she hears every word before giving a response. To her it seemed a common problem, there were countless cats in the same love predicaments, yearning for one that they will most likely never have. "Hmmm." The apprentice pondered for a moment, wanting to choose the right words to help her clanmate. "I think every cat has same problem at some time in their life. Many times, I see them end up with a better fit." She paused, considering her followup carefully. "It is not kittish. It is sometimes scary to think you may never find the one you will be with. But it is important to not rush it. The one for you will probably come unexpectedly, and they will like your different, they will cherish it. Understand everyone different in their own way, and the right cat will fit you snugly."
With this she turned her gaze to Chaicrisp, dipping her head gently. "I hope it makes sense. No need to be sad for things that were not meant to be. Rather, have patience for things that are to be. Someone will see you."
