Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It had been a long journey, but they had made it. All safe, though tired. Oceaneyes had heard their gasps of wonder as they walked along the stream and the trees and greenery began to thin out. Oceaneyes led them with her head high, and the further into their new territory that the group got, the more adrenaline she had pumping through her paws and pushing her on. "We're almost there." She told them. As the cats soon came to a large wall of the red tinted canyon, the sun warming their furs, she turned to look at the puzzled cats. A smile appeared along her lips as she waved her tail to them.
They were all tired of the dark tunnels of the regime, and had missed the way the sun felt on their backs, the wind in their furs, and simply the joys of fresh air. This, was perfect. Oceaneyes and Frostcry had gone on a long journey to find this home for their clan, with hopes to rebuild them back into a strong and independent clan. They had the thoughts that SunClan would flourish here like never before, this time, with the guidance of StarClan.
"Follow me." She purred lightly as she followed a small trickling of water that dipped down and disappeared into the wall. As she rounded a boulder and squeezed into the small space a beautiful cavern was revealed. Oceaneyes stepped forward and felt the cool water soak into her paws and slightly up her leg. She then bunched her muscles and leaped to the side where there seemed to be a small walkway free of the running water. Pools formed in the middle of the tunnel, but on both sides there was enough room to walk without getting ones paws wet. As they continued forward towards the light at the end of the tunnel the cats emerged into a sight like no other.
The cats stepped out and onto sand. The sound of waves gently rocking back and fourth met them. Water stretched out reaching on the sand, a few boulders littered the sand, some large and some smaller. The air smelled of fresh lake water and warmth. Along the cavern walls there were holes in the walls. These looked to be small caves, something Oceaneyes had felt to be a possible idea for dens.
Fernweaver had spent most of the trip flittering back and forth between the members of SunClan. How are you doing? Do you need to slow down for a moment? I could fetch you some extra water if you need it! Are you sure you're okay? By this point, at least half of the clan wanted to tell the medicine cat to bug right off, but she couldn't help it. Although she had full faith in Oceaneyes and Frostcry's ability to get them all there in one piece, she couldn't help but to worry. What kind of a medicine cat would she be if she didn't?
As they had worked to complete the tail leg of the journey, she had stayed mostly at the back, her bright yellow eyes scanning across the herd. But, as soon as Oceaneyes had meowed that they were almost there, the medicine cat's own eagerness tore her from her position, and she found herself quickly moving forward. By the time that Oceaneyes said welcome home, the young medicine cat was at her side, her eyes wide.
"It's... it's beautiful," she meowed, voice almost a whisper. She looked like she was about to cry - although she would have denied it. They'd been through so much, and now they were here, this was home.... She felt a rush of overwhelm move through her body. "We made it."
Frostcry spent the journey with the stragglers at the back of the group. His paws were buzzing with energy, beyond proud of the land they had discovered -- or been shown, he corrected with a swift glance at the stars -- but the young deputy used all of his discipline to stay back and make up no cat was lost or left behind. He had been here before, he had seen the wonders ahead of them; now he just had to keep everyone moving until they could see the finish line themselves. He was young for the responsibility of guiding his clan, it felt strange to be helping cats older than him, but he was determined to prove his worth to them all.
He purred as Fernweaver dashed forward, lifting his head high. "It's great, isn't it?" he chirped to the nearest cat, gesturing with a sweep of his twisted paw. "Just wait until you explore more; the prey scents run strong here. We'll be well fed."
Lifeadventure followed the rest of the Sunclan members into the tunnel. Stopping slightly behind Frostcry he glanced around their new home. "It's definitely different." The young tom was a bit skeptical of his new surroundings. After growing up in Sunclan's old territory the change was something he was having a hard time getting used to, but it did beat living in the underground tunnels of the regime.
Oceaneyes let the cats mingle for some time, then made her way to the large boulder in the middle of the large cavern. "SunClan! Please, gather round so that I may speak to you all."
