Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The sun had set below the horizon for a few hours. Under the veil of night, there was little comfort. Leaf-fall had come to the forest. It left the earth dry and the air cold, especially in the evenings and until the sun would reappear the next day. Near the waterfalls, where the trees thinned out and the starry skies could be seen overhead, a feline walked upstream. Voltfox's gaze was up to the stars for a moment, taking a rare moment to ask from his thoughts that StarClan granted them an easy winter. The whole walk he could only think about how cold it was, enough to even irritate him out of caring to hunt. The deputy's thicker coat still didn't stop the chilled breezes from penetrating his pelt to make his bones shiver. Voltfox dreaded his inkling that perhaps it could be a rough leaf-bare. If it was already this cold? Careful not to stand around lost in his thoughts, Voltfox kept on moving.
Leaf-fall was the small ginger she-cat's favorite season, Firestorm loved the crisp, chilly air, she especially loved it when the leaves turned into their dark shades of orange and red. The scent of another cat made Firestorm stop in her tracks. The scent was of another Clanmate, it had just taken her by surprise. Her pale blue gaze caught sight of Voltfox, the Clan deputy walking along the stream. She padded up to him. "Good evening, Voltfox!" She greeted him cheerfully.
Head tilting slightly, Voltfox wondered how anyone could be so lively right now. He was already praying for new-leaf to come back around. "Firestorm," he greeted with a dip of his head. "You seem to be in a good mood." He was short and truthfully not always the most tactful in conversations, but he tried to initiate small-talk the best he could. Since becoming deputy there were many of his clanmate's that finally recognized him for more than a willful troublemaker, but instead a cat with drive and vision. Cats went out of their way to greet him, something that just last winter would've been quite rare.
